@AceDoubleG The nose would have slammed down onto the deck, but the cable would hold it. Pilots are told to go to full throttle as soon as they touch the deck in case they did miss all the cables, so the cables are designed to restrain the jets even at full after burner.

@puketinho thanks, for the hint though. I checked numerous pilots' forums , mostly they say thats (cobra maneuver) only show trick for publics. Using the maneuver during air fight would be definite suicide.As well as it overrides engines while eating away most of fuel.
