I first saw CM at Springfest in Pensacola, FL back in the 90's. They weren't as well known then and were on the bill in the early afternoon. Probably 100-200 people were watching the show. I was sitting on the VIP bleachers off to the side of the stage. Fred jumped off the stage, marched over, grabbed me by the arm and dragged me down to the front of the stage. He then rounded up anyone who was nearby and demanded we join the crowd. CM then commenced to rock our world. I'm a convert.
love it love it love it love it. i could keep going but you get the point. BEST ALMOST EVER for those skeptics. this does not do them justice. you have to be there and get absorbed by the the crazinest that is COWBOW MOUTH
I see that the lead singer Fred Leblanc was the lead singer of Dash Rip Rock. I went to college in Louisiana in the 1980s. That was a while ago so I guess I am out of the loop. I knew this song from somewhere.
This is a cover of a Dash Rip Rock song from the 80s. Dash Rip Rock was from New Orleans and I still think they play gigs. I have the album called Ace of Clubs.
@pearltamadrums ALMOST??? ALMOST??????? get a fucking life, man. Slayer and Metallica (as much as i like Metallica), and NO ONE for that matter compare to live show performances like Cowboy Mouth (except maybe Muse, who is also really really good). This is what Cowboy Mouth is most known for. Performing live in the most epic and awesome way that's outta this world. GO COWBOY MOUTH!!!
Cowboy Mouth is the best live act you will ever see! This is an indisputable fact. It will be the most fun you have ever had at a concert. If you ever have the chance to see them, do not pass it up. Pure wild fun!
They came to huntsville's summer fest, they had all of downtown closed off and it was an epic concert in the streets, and cowboy mouth had all of downtown in riot mode...Trully EPIC concert.
part theater, part revival, part frat party, part mardi gras. you will be forever changed after a CM show, whether fred sprays you with sweat, tosses you a drum stick, snarls-smiles, exhorts you to leap, sing or get down. its a jolt of energy. you wont need caffeine for days.
i just wanna ask you guys at 6:06 there is ...a get down on the ground... i know is from a song but i dont know the name of the song please guys some1 help me
I went to see them live at the house of blues i cant remember when but i was screaming so loud i felt as if i was gonna cough up my vocal cords, this band is so sick i cant wait till i go again
I saw them a few years back in Nashville at the Dancin' in the District concert series. They weren't the headlining band that night, but after all the energy we had was given up for Cowboy Mouth, just about everyone left before Better than Ezra came on stage. Cowboy Mouth is, as Fred puts it, a pure rock 'n' roll orgasm.
i see them when ever they come to new orleasn i even got to kiss him. he is so calm after a show. i know i wouldn't be. Id have to let it go!!!! my son loves his show also. I just love how he bangs his drums.
This is by far the best song i've heard from these guys...otherwise...they are average at best. I would be bored to tears watching these guys live. They are a less talented Radiators clone. Fred would grate on my nerves after two songs of trying to ram this boredom down my throat.
Simply amazing....Best band in person ever. The energy is indeed unlike anything else, like Magnus9r said, if you leave that concert down, you might as well just go die. Really makes you feel great to be ALIVE!
What a band from my hometown and only place that I call home --- New Orleans!
Awesome, simply awesome. Just saw these guys the other night in Colorado. No other live show is quite like it - Fred's energy is contagious. If you can leave their show feeling down you might as well climb into your grave. No one else even comes close. Fred we love you!
wow, lotta soul! just another example of how far rock has fallen since mid 90s, so much better then
