  • well done!!!

  • Bloody Brilliant..

Read the book last October and this is spot on in terms of atmosphere

    Well done

  • Great job! One of my favourite books, I'm surprised this was done at VFS, that's preferably my future university. It looks like a commercial trailor!

  • @StationXXrama This was made at NYU film school in 2001, not VFS. A VFS student only used the visuals from my film for his class sound project.

  • @vladikoff awww i was looking forward to going to that school

  • hey i know that music!!! its from underworld!!!

  • Nicely done, I am a huge fan of the books but I am tired of other movies ripping off Clarke's ideas. I think you have captured the imagination and the curiosity well. You gave us a little to wonder about but enough to make you wanting more. Excellent Job. I think a movie like this could have blockbuster potential.

  • Just 1A!!!

  • You made a great job of this video, very atmospheric indeed.

I just wished the Holywood version of 'Rendevous with rama' had gone ahead.

    Maybe one day !

  • This is the type of art work that makes diffrence in everything!!!

Grate work, now all of you should give the next step!!!

  • That is most excellent. You must do more!!! If Hollywood will not take this classic to the screen, then someone must. You did a fantastic job.

  • At 02:10, I think it's great how you appeared to get a reflection of the interior of Rama in the visa of the guy's space helmet.

  • Isnt that the score from "Sunshine"?

  • awesome work! The short film is brilliant, great direction & artwork. Which software did you use to design & render the CU of the ship and its interior?

  • Thanks, it was all rendered in Maya and comped in After Effects.
