  • I think it should be up to the parents of the child to see what is ok and what is not.

  • i really feel that people are too sensitive to this kind of things and take it way out of context..

  • Children aren't allowed to enter legal contracts, or vote, because they do not possess the capacity to thoroughly understand the ramification of their decisions. Subsequently, I think the same reasoning applies to choice of reading material. We as parents and teachers have the responsibility to provide this for them, as we the parents/libraries see fit.

  • I am against any book banning for adults. Books should never be removed from retail stores, or be prevented from ownership by anyone. That being said; parents, teachers, and schools systems have a right to review reading material its children use, and they have the right to restrict material viewed by their children.
