A lot of people that are finding M83 are people that are used to a certain formulation to the music that they listen to, with lyrics playing an important role. The repetition of a song like this is based in a formula called Solfeggio Harmonics. SH songs are tuned to specific frequencies and operate on ancient principles of Chakra meditatons where soundwaves activate positive emotional responses in the listener. Search for Solfeggio Harmonics here on Youtube and enjoy music in a spiritual design.
The length of this song on the album is over 11 minutes, but I can sit there and listen to it all without feeling that I'm listening to a loop. Mayhap because my mind is put at ease. You stop thinking.
@stifmystyrbry If you want to hear something akin to what you are thinking, check out the lengthy uncredited electronic instrumental by...............wait for it...................Queen in memory of Freddie Mercury from their last album "Made In Heaven". 20 minutes of calm but with slight varations unlike this piece.
@Secretum11 Not sure I can find it for you. I would say check iTunes but it's such a long piece that it would probably only be available on the album itself.
Anyway, for the record (pun intended), it's the last untitled cut after the final song on the album.
I'll see if I can find anything else that might help.
@noiryork It is a good tune but why does it have to go on endlessly for 9 minutes like this on the album. You'd think it would change at one point but it doesn't.
I sat through the album version thinking it would change but it didn't. Very frustrating as it is a nice melody.
@mus1cat There is a strong message to the listener in this song and that is why M83 left iit as the last song of the album and made it so long. Goggle Solfeggio Harmonics and you will then understand what this song is and why it is repetitive. Once you understand the point of this song you will be able to appreciate it and the design that M83 had for their listeners voyage on this album.

This track sounds like he fell asleep on his synthesizer with his head.

Great song, thanks for the upload! =]
I feel like this would be the song that is played when we die and we are on our way to heaven. Calming. Relaxing. Accepting.

This sounds like alot of nothing unless youve listened to the entire album. If you did its a great song to end an album on.
