Why oh why do the Germans dub everything? What's the point in listening to some German actor trying to sound like the real thing? Just subtitle it and appreciate the brilliant Peter Wyngarde, for crying out loud!!

the special thing about the german edition is his hilarious german dubbing, which is most of the time completely different from the original... like the persuaders with moore / curtis. the editors who translated this into german, were funny guys. but you only get the point, when you understand the german language to 120%. peter wyngarde rocks, you re right, i have his CD, its great!

@owenpetard Agreed, in principle. HOWEVER: In this particular case, the dubbing itself is half the fun. I doubt Wyngarde's original lines were even half as embarrassing as this crapadocio.
