As chickenwing601 says, this is a mantis shrimp or stomatopod, not a 'pistol crab'. There is no such thing as a pistol crab, but a pistol shrimp (this is not one). Pistol shrimp are true shrimps, Caridea family Alpheidae. Stomatopods are hellacool in their own right. Best eyes on the planet and attack response faster than the human eye can see.
