Oh, by the way, this isn't the first Metallica song I have heard. Even the album versions suck. At least 4 of my friends are Metallica fans and I have listened to Metallica with them, but none of the songs really appealed to me. They all sound too similar; drab and soulless.

He has regained a lot of the energy and power in his voice. He can never sound like he did when he was 20-30 years old, but his voice is definitely not bad now.
