That scene was written so they could use the song, The Beatles didn't write the songs in the 60s because they believed that in the decades to come someone was going to make a film and use their songs in it... I guess it's personal taste but I just don't think I could prefer any of these covers to the originals.

Dana Fuchs (Sadie) has an amazing voice. But Martin Luther (JoJo), has one of the most amazing voices I've ever heard. I love the scene in the movie for this song when he's pissed off though. It's kindof funny. And when he sings the last line of "Come Together"... wow. He has one of the most spectatular voices I've ever heard.
