Im sure they won't. Hopefully its just a graphical update. hmmm i would like to see penance on there. It is the blu ray disk, so they should have plenty of space, but there are so many fmv scenes and such, they if they do remaster it, it could take up a lot of space

I agree there's just something about this scene that is very touching. I think playing through the game and all that has happened to them, only for Tidus to find out she's going to die, all that sadness and anger comes out in this scene i think. I think that's what makes it very touching to see the bond between them.
God I miss this game. I've played time and time again all the way through and it never gets old. I stopped playing a lot b/c of college and work but I gotta get back into it after seeing this. When my dad died all i did was play this. It gave me this escape, this peace. For me, it's not just a game. It brought me to a world that saved me from living in my own nightmare. Even now, after I have accepted and healed, it still brings me a nostalgic comfort.

It makes me mad I bought this game for a friend months ago and he still hasn't got around to playing it. I keep telling him you haven't even played video games till you play FFX. i love this warm and fuzzy bit in the game. i admire yuna's tenacious spirit. life is always rewarding to those who acknowledge his/her role and pursue it at any cost, i think.

I feel it's much more cinematic then seeing what they are about to say, and seeing that pop up all the time, I feel it just takes me out of the moment a bit.
@Usul573 you have a point. i hate it especially when yuna's saying she got proposed to by seymour. there's supposed 2 be a dramatic pause but the subtitles come up. but sometimes their handy because you can't tell what they're saying.
I too have to say that your method of obtaining an HD quality video is great.
I had tried a while back & only got moderate results, though still quite pixilated in full-screen.
However, in both my attempt & yours, in the higher resolutions the bright blues during the song tend to blur out some of the darker folds of Yuna's skirt among other things.
if you could also let me know how you got the HD res, I would be much appreciated.

wonderful quality, even when it's not in HD. During the kissing scene, the song that plays is truly beautiful (though I cannot actually understand it) the melody is amazng, and the way the words flow with it, the song is just absolutely perfect for the scene. I truly love this video.

I think the only real way to do that is to play it on PCSX2.

KOTOR even gave a hint that turning off subtitles provides a more cinematic experience.
Your eyes shifting up and down compared to really focusing on the characters.
Some games can be hard to follow, but I'd much rather have the sound turned up enough to hear easy.
War games with so much noise, and not that cinematic, it varies per game.

I love this scene as well. It is beautiful on its own, but moreover... has been used very successfully in a lot of really good AMVs.
I tried unsuccessfully to render a true HD version of the scene. Perhaps in time.
