I do read the Bible. But, I read it by understanding that it's NOT literal. It's symbolic. The battle is being fought. It's by understanding how humanity had been led down a literal path by the church who is at the top of world politics. That's why we've had wars with your average christian at the front lines thinking that they were doing God's work.
