My grandmother lived in the crystal lake trailer park and we went to visit her almost every year. My friends always made fun of me for going down to florida and going to a town they've never heard of instead of disney world. I'm from South Jersey, there's no kind of town like Wauchula anywhere near where I am and I was always excited to go down and visit and drive into town. Everyone has always been so nice and kind down there, and I have to say Nicholas' has some of the top prime rib I've had.
@EmorySmith18 There is a Sweetbay, Wal-Mart (out of city limits.), and Winn-Dixie (out of city limits.). Fast food places are Burger King, McDonald's, and Sonic Drive-In. Local palces to eat are Paul's Kitchen, Bread Board, Wauchula Family, and Main Street Grille (My dad helps there.).
you know ive met alot of good hearted people in wauchula florida . very peace full town , and there is alot of good looking women there , you just got to have your shit together to get one . best little town ive been in . you got to look around the riff raff every where . home is where you make it .....
i built that walmart there in wauchula, you should of seen the place befor that was there . there was nothing at all . but a very nice place to live . good people there

Wauchula was an OK little town when I was growing up in the 70's and 80's. It's now just a distant suburb of Mexico City. My advise to anybody living there now: LEAVE!

aww my inlaws live in Wauchula... I just went by to visit. All I know is that if you want to see some old buddies or relatives just go to Wal-Mart.
