The immediate fallout is on the northern hemisphere but will be worldwide in a few decades. The Japanese admitted that Tokyo should have been evacuated but it was too large of an undertaking, so they just left the residents to certain death in 10-15 years. The earthquake was caused by an underwater nuclear explosion near Fukushima. Smile, the government loves idiots.
