I now have gears and run mid 8s with slicks. Still stock motor. I've seen cars like mine with a single 70mm turbo run deep into the 6s. Keep trying ricer, nice lights btw. Lol!

@guitarfetish342 Meh it slipped once and tried grinding, but that was due to me being in a hurry, my clutch is aftermarket lol i bought it off family it has some custom parts but most is stock. The version of tib we have is known for the terrible stock clutch :P get rid of it when you can :D
@Savagenerds I don't know what to make of mine, i've just had the stock one replaced but my mechanic is convinced that there are no aftermarket / heavy duty clutches for the tiburon because it's a pull type clutch... even though I've found plenty on the net.. and consequently put a new one of the same fucking clutch in again... sigh..

I just changed the led on the speedometer cluster to white and got a triple gauge pod on the driver side with white gauges red needle being oil press. oil temp. and boost. DRAG DR34 gunmetal 17" wheels. Magnaflow headers and full exhaust. NGM Stage 3 sniper supercharger kit, and I also got SPARCO black with red stitching racing seats. :D
i don't know about this car but there are turbo tibs that will smoke a z28. but dont get me wrong i own a tib and i know its not the greatest platform for mods but you can make them pretty quick

yeah I know it needs to be intercooled but as long as I dont let the m motor get above 170 its ok I will run it and the nlet it cool down. The intercooler for my setup is 1600 dollars and it is air to water so it is alittle more expensive then most

Well, the Tiburon does cost about 22k. buy a $22,000 Tib brand new and put 4k into a turbo kits, approx putting the car at the same price of a new Mustang GT, which the turbo Tib can now beat. I always compare price in a car argument like this one. But I'd rather buy a 2002 Mustang GT and install a Vortech supercharger that only cost $3,400. Which is cheap, compared to the $5,000 Saleen superchargers.

WoW. This car has been off the road and back to stock for so long I forgot that people are still e-thugin it on here. I don't give a shit what you drive. I'm am since then a certified professional tuner, because I love all cars. I wasn't making fun of it...haha...it wasn't slow at all. And SVTCobra69...if you think all foreign cars are ricers, then you need to get a video of yourself showing off your car and see if anyone makes fun of it. That is if you even have a 69' SVT Cobra. yeah I know it needs to be intercooled but as long as I dont let the m motor get above 170 its ok I will run it and the nlet it cool down. The intercooler for my setup is 1600 dollars and it is air to water so it is alittle more expensive then most

lol yeah I know you arent intercooled and with 5 psi you dont really need it LMAO with 15 pounds on my 302 (yeah thats a V-8) it needs to be intercooled either way I wouldnt have a problem outrunning you

where did you find the parts for a turbo in the v6? i prefer a turbo, but haven't been able to find the parts, so i'm almost set on an alpine s/c unless you can give me some info.

I have to laugh because clearly you think your ricer is badass now that you have boost. Which it is, much cooler and faster than it was.... BUT, you do know that if you put dollar for dollar into that Mustang and give him a measly 5lbs, vs. your 5lbs you would be seeing his tailights everytime....

I agree, if another guy took another mustang and made it fast, he might be faster. Dollar for dollar though I highly fucking doubt it. I payed $2,000 for my setup. Thats it. I did all of the work myself. So thats out the window. And the turbo has so much potential, that a single psi difference means alot in power. Plus, how many V6 Turbo tiburons do you see? Now how many mustangs do you see? Damn man, now I gotta laugh.

The race in this video was not a competition race with rules. Run what brought. Thats it. Ifs and whats don't matter here.

It would definetly win against a 170HP automatic hyundai. hahaha. In the video it was the same night that I street tuned it. He wanted to go, I didn't beat on him too much, but the guys in the back seat kept waiving me on. So I gave it to him.

Well, the Tiburon does cost about 22k. buy a $22,000 Tib brand new and put 4k into a turbo kits, approx putting the car at the same price of a new Mustang GT, which the turbo Tib can now beat. I always compare price in a car argument like this one. But I'd rather buy a 2002 Mustang GT and install a Vortech supercharger that only cost $3,400. Which is cheap, compared to the $5,000 Saleen superchargers.

a used 03-04 tib is about 10k and, if you shop around, a full turbo setup can cost way less than 2.5k
