They should have left most of the gameplay the same and just updated rosters, graphics, some sequences, soundtrack and commentating. Stuff like that. Gameplay is most important.

My NBA life began with NBA Jam. Then I bought my very first game which was NBA Live 2003. I was in love with this game. Non-stop action. I was a monster on the keyboard lol. But now that NBA 2k is alive, EA is dead for me.

Yes, Don Poier died suddenly Jan.21/05 of a heart attack in Denver hours before the Grizzlies played the Nuggets. First listened to him & Jay Triano when they called Grizz games in Vancouver on my old dish. Those two made terrible games a lot of fun to watch.

One of the best lives. I got 02-05 and im about to collect them all and compare. Why did they take away the cutscenes i miss that hella. Every nba live has something good why dont they mix them all together and make the ultimate nba live??? 03-cutscenes all game!!! and legends MJ etc.04-nba store/training camp 05 all star weekend 06-superstar control 07-mini games 08-Olympic B Ball 09- Nba academy. I've actually just started playing the NBA Live series. I ordered this one and 2005 for different gameplays. I have to say I think 2003 is far superior to 2005. I'm also able to do up all the seasons through a spreadsheet (races are random and most players won't have faces) and the gameplay is very different, much slower... going back to the original is pretty crazy.

this is the best nba game to take pics cause players show emotions. I have a ton of pics on my PC. Award winning pics. can be put on magazine covers. The only bad part about this game is that is damn hard to block a layup or a dunk.
