firstly in no way is he wearing anything that is, or appears to be "haram". Although better look would definitely be "recommended" ,but does not justify criticism especially when its not haram.

And secondly we should appreciate people when ther'e trying to do something good rather than thoughtlessly criticizing them, because that would just discourage them and eventually damage the process of spreading Islam(and the blame would be on the criticizer).
