  • It's a clever way to visually trace the "bad" lettuce. So not only can they measure the e-coli contamination in the origianlly clean iceberg lettuce, but they can show the presence of originally infected shreds of "bad lettuce" long after the red lettuce heads were processed.

  • Why did they actually have to contaminate the red lettuce with the e-coli to determine the results they were after?

  • i doubt this is ment as serious
