People get it wrong when they decide what it means. Hagee explains what scripture means. He doesn't interpret it. Name one he has twisted.

Before making a video you should learn the correct interpretations, because you are misinterpreting the message. The Bible is correct, and so is Mr. Hagee as he interpreted it correctly. He is talking about those who refuse to work, and want to rely on others for their daily needs, instead of going out to provide for themselves. This guy takes stuff out of context and twists words around to make them seem horrible. Hagee didn't say the poor should starve, he said the man who doesn't work when he is able should starve, huge difference! The U.S. is broke because people aren't responsible for themselves, depending on the government to take care of them. People can't find jobs because they refuse to do anything but what is comfortable to them. Nobody is too good to do manual labor if that is all that is available.
