It's becoming more apparent that they are different now...This album just got to my heart because of the way he expressed his emotions through the lyrics and through the music.  I have never seen any other band be able to pull that off to the extent that Neon Ballroom has. I've grown distant from the band after this album...their recent songs have not ever matched the beauty of Neon Ballroom and probably never will again...they've moved on and so have I...I'm sorry. :(

As someone who has been to every 'chair tour since 1994 - Neon Ballroom stands out as the highlight of every 'chair -and every rock show - I have ever seen. (Although the Diorama concert in the pouring rain was very special).

I went to their concert in Copenhagen same year. Daniel was so weak, depressed and messed up on antidepressants. His emotions were blocked. It must have been a real struggle to tour and try to act like another person at that time. He seemed so unhappy.

I'm so glad that he's feeling much better nowadays. The new album says it all.
