I heard this song today in a local grocery store and a flood of great memories came rushing back into my mind. I also thought how sad it is that the so called country music artist today are just plan sorry as muscians. Country music had several decades of great music mainly seventees, eighties and nineties. I quit listening to the new country and only listen to my old CDs. I hate to even know that todays artist would even think that they are calling themselves country music artist. Just sad....

I've been turned off by the watered down syrupy country they play on radio. Funny how you can still find the odd show on University or College radio that specializes in country. You can find the real gems there, over time I have been turned on to Robbie Fulks, Corb Lund, Hayes Carl and Jamey Johnson.

I've heard people say that the original demo for this song is over 5 minutes long. Either way, it's one of my favorite songs Mark did. I used to sing it on Karaoke every once in a while. Maybe I'll break it out again sometime....
