  • Your vids are fantastic , just started kayaking cant wait to get out there in the wilds with friends thanks for the inspiration. Amazing vids, cheers.

  • @SPARKYGUSS Great care is needed out there, of all the places I've been, this is the one, that can be the most unpredictable. Whichever way the wind comes, it will cause a problem somewhere. Just choose a good day, a neap tide would help, and enjoy, it has a special, unique magic for me, the history, the wildlife, the challenge, and the personal memories from previous Dive Trips, years ago. On this outing, I did, The Farnes, St. Abbs, and Bass Rock in nr perfect conditions......

  • @sabre000001 Indeed it is,and if you like it above water, check out some of the below water scenes,in particular the Seals - is is absolutely magical beneath the waves.

  • @onlywhenpissed They will be working on something now as we speak!! probably using Council Tax money,a small part of which will probably be" Ring-Fenced" in order to generate more misery for the populus! Revolution is in the Air!

  • Inspired, by this video, More please Paddy

  • Great Video , Thanks for posting!

  • Forgot to mention, the return of this trip was superb, paddling along the opposite side(North) of the islands, hundreds of seals, about 20 or so followed me,cut across and explored Megstone, which was excellent, unmissable in fact, and the paddle back to Bamburgh in the evening sun.Just one problem the video tape containing the footage "Grew legs" and dissapeared, never to be seen again!

  • @GBPaddling

Really enjoyed this one, like the dive and tide info.

Even when its calm at the Farnes you have to watch out.

    Great stuff

  • @stevenatleven Yes indeed, the Farnes sure gets my respect everytime, had more than a few dodgy moments out there, and in big boats as well!

  • another great vid GBP, commentary up to its usual standard i see ! how long did it take you to get from mainland to the farnes ? what kayak is it ?

  • @theyoungchevalier It was actually 2.65 miles to Inner Farne from Stag Rocks, which surprised me I can tell you,it took probably 3/4 hr,no rush, stopping to film e.t.c.Inner Farne is just over a mile directly offshore, but you can't launch there. My boat is Rockpool Alaw, made in Holyhead.
