Isn't the term fuck actually under your chin (fuck not meaning sex)? I'm taking ASL (plan on majoring in it) & I'm just wondering if you are just doing fuck as in sex or not. Thank you!
@mynameiszacci Hi there, thanks for your comment! As far as I know, there are several ways to say fuck. There's the one I use here, the loan sign of F-K, and giving someone the finger. I've heard about the version you describe with hand under the chin as well, but as far as I know, it's more commonly used in Europe than here in the US. (cont)

another fun way in ASL is to blend the signs... change one of the parameters of one sign so its closer to the second. in this case sign the FUCK on your forehead (bang the palm side twice), then twist it forward and sign the second R (from RETARDED) on your forehead (back of hand hits this time)... its usually just signed with the V handshape (not switch to R) for FUCKING STUPID, but the R could work.
@ASLperfomance Thanks! I know that there SHOULD be ways to combine some of the words I mention, but I'm not fluent enough to know how, or adequately guess how it should be done. I'm also never sure if a sign would be widely recognized, or just something signers local to my area would use. Thanks for the help!!
