In los angeles they will know if you are fat. but there are a lot of plus size 12 and up here so no problem. i love the video i didnt know that was empire cut. keep the tips coming girlfriend

everyone is saying how nice an empire cut dress will look on big people...but they are just talking about people who doesnt have a tummy to hide. I look PREGO each time i TRY on a dress like that...so of course i'm not gonna buy one!

I have always had amazing luck with Kmart and Walmart. Especially Walmart's "LEI"brand for dresses and things. Kmart has some cute stuff from "Piper and Blue." Maybe your store hasn't that much of a selection, I would try shopping online :)

i have to wear all black at my work and only slacks.. but i can never find the right pair of slacks... there always too small or there too baggy> any suggestions? and do you have any advice to help me play up my outifit?

@Photographygrrl If you have Fashion Bug stores near you go there and try on slacks. They have them catagorized, like straight body, or curvey, try the curvey and look for slacks that have lycra or 1% spandex on the content tag, these give stretch and wont bind. If you have a muffin top problem, look for pants that sit right about your bellybutton, you may have to go up in a size but thats just a number your going for FIT, and a higher rise, its the low rise jeans that cause muffintops.
