I liked the Bf1942 version the most of all, i think mainly because you could control the Destroyer Ship and Aircraft Carrier from the Japanese attackers and put them on strategic points. Also the Desert combat( bf1942 mod) version of the map was awesome. Nevertheless, all wake maps were awesome ;)

@davedebekker destroyrs where very OP and that wake island was to open bf2 verions was too thin and bf3 version is probably the best maybe because infinite sprint and you won't get stuck on the sides of the hill also the bridge is indestructible.

BF3 is the best one because EVERYBODY loves the mini bulldozer

P.S. if u get a kill with it u get a trophy/achievement "Like a boss"

I love wake island, but even though the BF3 map looks amazing nothing beats the 1943 version. But my favourite Battlefield map of all time is without a doubt Oasis from BC1 and BC2

I think I like the 1943 version the best because of the more tropical feel it reminds me of when I used to live in Hawaii but I like the bf3 version too it just looks war torn and too realistic it looks almost kinda depressing. I own Both games but 1943 has a happier feel you know besides all the death killing and carnage.
