THis is confusing to watch w/ the gram picks and gene singing. But I guess because it's more of a tribute performance that's appropriate. I enjoyed it.
It's not Gram singing! It's Gene...Doesn't sound sweet enough to be Gram. Gene joined after Gram had long gone. Well that's how it sounds to me anyhow. I'm sure the info's out there, although Gram did write it of course...A
@howlinwolf73 no, its gene parsons, the byrds' drummer and occasional singer. gene clark left in early 1966, and returned briefly in 1967 just to stay weeks with the group, before finally leaving for good
Just play a G chord with your pinkie finger on the top E 3rd fret, 3rd finger on the bottom (wound string) E 3rd fret, 2nd finger on the A string second fret.
Then take off the 3rd finger on the top E, and move your first finger to the 2nd fret top E, then after that move the first finger to the first fret, top E, then go to an open E chord. Bingo! Beautiful song eh?
I made a video for hot buritto #1 a few days ago and it won't load due to copyright, i love this song so so much. i uploaded it to fb so if you want to see it feel free to contact me :)
@katieb65 I had the same problem - I was able to upload but it was blocked. It would be generous if Hillman & Ethridge would make a full version from FBB with Gram available. This is not Gram. :0( bdf
@mandaltby Awfully harsh, ESPECIALLY considering it is clearly labeled as GENE Parsons & not Gram. Gene was a legit latter day Byrd and Burrito. Sure, the vocal lacks Gram's soul, but I still kinda like this version. It's easy listening while we wait for word of your impending, court-mandated Anger Management classes. Good luck!

@noelliam67 This version starts with Gmaj, Gmaj7, G7, E7 then to Am. Gram Parsons version has a nice intro.
His verion is in F though.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
@mandaltby Gram's greatest accomplishment was dying before everyone realized how average he was.
