You Tube needs to have a process for reversing flagging that is personally motivated.
The removal of a flagged video while it is under investigation is a fine idea, and removing members who deliberately violate content rules and copyright laws is necessary.
But, everyone is worthy of having a case reviewed and having a bad judgment overturned.
You Tube needs to find a way to have a review process as well as a flagging process.

I just opened this new account because it happened to me last year. I couldn't answer messages, or enter my account for 15 days. The problem is that we believe to OWN YT, but this is evidently not true. YT owns us and do what they want with us and our videos, because YouTube is the Master. Edward Current gets money from YT so obviously he is not going against his master that pays him.
Youtube are absolutely reckless and irresponsible when it comes to suspensions. Their conduct is unconscionable. The in part attempt to pass the blame to the law and/or 3rd parties who flag etc, however this is B.S. Youtube have done this and it is their irresponsibility an lack of accountability that creates this problem.

my 6 month account warning will be over in about a week. it was because someone marked my comment as spam. i have never once made a spam comment. it was probably some jerk who didnt like what i said. because of this account warning, i stopped commenting as much as i used to. i would get 10-20 replies a day, but now i get about 5 a week because of less commenting. i didnt save my videos on my computer so they are only available on youtube. i would be crushed if my videos got deleted.

If there is a big wave of flagging youtube's big sponsor videos then there would be a real quick reform to the system. I don't know if this is an immoral thing to do, what free speech would we be taking away from getting CBS automatically suspended or something. They get more viewers on TV anyway.
YouTube desperately needs to improve it's communication with users on these manners. In addition once a video is flagged it should only be flaggable ONCE, ever. Flagging requires a member of the YouTube staff to sit there and watch the video. Thus any capacity to flag a video more then the first time is a complete waste.
Read the terms of service and YouTube's communications on this matter before spouting more paranoid accusations. They have to review flaggings because to do otherwise opens them to potential litigation.

Maybe this is an unfair comparison, if you open up, let's say a book store. You come into the store one day and upset some customers, doesn't the book store owner have the right to kick you out of his store due to anonymous complaints about you.

I just opened this new account because it happened to me last year. I couldn't answer messages, or enter my account for 15 days. The problem is that we believe to OWN YT, but this is evidently not true. YT owns us and do what they want with us and our videos, because YouTube is the Master. Edward Current gets money from YT so obviously he is not going against his master that pays him.

my 6 month account warning will be over in about a week. it was because someone marked my comment as spam. i have never once made a spam comment. it was probably some jerk who didnt like what i said. because of this account warning, i stopped commenting as much as i used to. i would get 10-20 replies a day, but now i get about 5 a week because of less commenting. i didnt save my videos on my computer so they are only available on youtube. i would be crushed if my videos got deleted.

YouTube desperately needs to improve it's communication with users on these manners. In addition once a video is flagged it should only be flaggable ONCE, ever. Flagging requires a member of the YouTube staff to sit there and watch the video. Thus any capacity to flag a video more then the first time is a complete waste.
