    @choclathhoney, thanks for sharing.

  • wow, back in the early days of african independence....so much promise! But the African leaders went to bed with the white man again, and now we see even the african women with perms and bleached skin. African men chasing the white woman's coat tails. Oh woe is me, set my people free!

  • i love all ur songs!! my mum n dad love it badly.........im ur no 1 fan

  • Sir Victor Uwaifo--the man is royalty.

  • what in gods name is going on here

  • The Very Best sampled this? SWEET. now more people can groove to Highlife and shit. for this guy i guess it's Joromi.

  • Hey folks, if you're here because you like The Very Best or Radioclit or whatever, that's great - and you should check out more Victor Uwaifo while you're at it. Guitar Boy is just the tip of a pretty incredible iceberg.

  • people say i remind them of kermit the frogg

  • As sampled by The Very Best on 'Warm Heart of Africa' :-D

  • An icon in the truest sense.

  • What a great performer. What a great musician!!! i truly love Sir Victor. With his music i will get through the cold winter in Germany!!!

  • Ever loving Sir Victor Uwaifo, i remain your fan for ever.CHOCLATHONEY OR WHOEVER IN POSITION/OPPORTUNITY TO DO IT.Can you just fish out some of our past Bini popular musicians on the you tube, just music alone is ok without bvideo, because then, there was no video clips promoting music as today. Some of those musicians are PATRICK IDAHOSA,CLEMICO UWAIFO,OSAGIE BROTHERS,MONCHICO BEY,ADAMOSA,AMUNATABA,PRECIOUS ALAKE,OKE ELAIHO,SOME UGHO TRADITIONAL MUSICS,REAL EDO CULTURAL GROUP(LED BY OGBODU)

  • hey i don't have these artist on this computer but if i get the chance i will try to upload some amunataba, adamosa, colins oke, and some others that i don't know the artist names but the songs are very nostalgic. Happy viewing!!!!

  • chocolatthoney, thanks sir for your responds trying to upload some of the mentioned musictians of the great Bini/Edoland

Most importantly ADAMOSA,AMUNATABA and some PATRIK IDAHOSA if possible.

Thanks and God Bless for your good work for all lovers of music.Adios

  • what a costume!

  • Reminds me of kermit the frog.

  • I love Sir Victor Uwaifo, his voice seams not to be change for one beat. It still remains the same since I used to hear his songs from child hood till now (a woman os 37 years old)

  • Can anybody tell me what he's saying between 1:29 - 1:34 and between 3:45 - 3:50 please? It sounds something like "Sing your song of love sweet memory" or something like that.

His Wiki page is very funny it says "Uwaifo's hobbies include swimming, bodybuilding, gaming, reading, writing, and bringing up other people's children"

I never would have considered fostering kids to be a hobby!

  • "Sing a song of love, sweet melody." That's what he is saying.

  • Cool thanks.

  • AFROBRAZILERO !!

  • Thanks for posting! Victor uwaifo is the King!!

  • mammi water simply means mermaid...from the river..little mermaid..that kind of thing..

  • Anyone, Please, who or what is MAmmi Water?

  • A mammi water is a mermaid. It was (is) rumored that they turn into humans during the day and live amongst us.

  • Mammi Water is a Mermaid, WHICH! people should be scared of if they saw one cuz I know i'd run like I was in the 2012 olympics!
