My professor for that teaches this is the Chair of Engineering Science at the University of Toronto and this video helped me learn least squares much more! Extremely helpful. Thank you!
I would tend to disagree, linear algebra is quite hard and very abstract compared to the applications of calculus and where all the motivations for various ideas are explicitly mentioned when taught. Also, algebra II, III, abstract algebra, etc. are quite difficult and even more abstract.
Unless you are a Mechanical Engineering student and taking classes in Partial Differential Equations, not to mention Numerical Methods which employ Linear Algebra as fundamentals along with computer application.
Linear Algebra = Fundamental Math
BTW: Salman thanks so much for your lectures! It's awesome that I can come here and review this stuff to not fall behind in my Mech Engr classes.
