In fact, I think a riot is more economically damaging to those in charge than a campaign of personal attacks against the members of the ruling class. Storming the Bastille ultimately achieved the goal of the revolutionaries which was to remove the monarchy from a position of power. Whether or not it has lead to a healthier society is debatable.

Your words conjure up images reminiscent of the Battle Of Hastings with one militia on one side and another on the other side. I believe that genre of combat is antiquated. All I'm saying is that it is debatable that French society under the French monarchy had ever been any healthier than it was after the fall of the French crown. @ssslawek They own US dollars because it's the acceptable form of foreign currency reserves in the whole world (until recent years because of the latest crisis). Because they're getting used to the easy life when the government is your big papa that comes and fixes everything when something happens to you or your money. In Greece for instance people so got used to working only like 7 hours a day they cry about working a little more. However in Germany people are normal, they know that they need to work hard and avoid getting someone else's money.

im proud that the french have higher expectations for their quality of life rather than sitting back and letting the governmetn take your taxes and use it anyway they like. social services and spending should come first, not military and war which is where most of the tax is being invested in.
