  • Marciano was a solid champion without a doubt...I would put My Money of Muhammad without a doubt! Marciano's will would carry him but eventually Ali would prevail...mmj

  • Muhammad Ali not Rocky, who possesses a great talent and wisom in a big fighting. In term of smart fighting, Ali will never lose to Marciano.

  • @chop3333 thats funny xDD no? ye rly .^^. no not rly xD marciano would win vs ali .. xD stupid guy

  • Marciano cann't defeat Ali. Although Marciano had powerful punch and determined heart, he was outsmarted by Ali.

Ali had fast and effective jabs and within three or four rounds eyes of Marciano would choked with blood or pluffy. Ali knows how to defend himself with holding Marciano or use his long arms ti be shield for his head and body while Marciano is so open and vulnerable for being attacked,

  • Actually, this fight was one of the possible outcomes. (Yes it was a fantasy fight). Neither fighter was hitting with their utmost power. (Each one at one point hit the other full force, then apologized for it). The filmed outcome was just one of 3 possibilities for ANY fight-one fighter beat out the other. Ali could have one or they could have fought to a draw.

  • Marciano was the strongest hevyweight ever to get in the ring.

  • @bruce8420 not a chance on this earth was his stronger than george foreman!

pound for pound?? maybe who knows.

    outright? NO CHANCE

  • @eatthisvr6

    stronger ? no . 10X times his stamina ? YES . more heart ? yes . it is a close call .

  • I read this about one of the guy's Marciano fought. This sums up how hard he hit.

His (Rex Layne) final record stands at 50-17-3 (34 KO). He (Rex Layne) was undefeated his first 17 fights.

He (Rex Layne) fought legendary boxer Rocky Marciano and lost by 6th round KO. Marciano's knockout punch sheared off four of Layne's upper, front teeth at the gumline and sent his mouthpiece ten feet across the ring.

    'Nuff said...

  • Marciano was great, but truthfully, he was lucky that Sonny Liston-who was around at that time-didn`t get a title shot at him because of his run-ins with the law. Sonny would have been too big for Rocky;he would`ve had a tremendous reach advantage(84 in. vs. 68 in.); he had the biggest fists of any hvwt. champion, & he had better boxing skill than he`s been given credit for having.

  • Ali would beat Marciano I believe. Some of Marciano fights he won but he was behind on points but was fortunate enough to land a ko punch. He was on his way to losing. Ali would be ahead on points and would stay that way. Even knocking Marciano out in the later rounds. Or perhaps the fight being stopped due to swollen eyes.

  • @bartonmcgill Moore busted up Marciano and Moore wasn't known for having a great a jab like Ali. Marciano was dropped by the former welterweight Moore in 2nd. Marciano 's eyes were puffy and beginning to swell as early as 2nd. Marciano was also cut under left eye and bleeding from nose. Ali had one of the best jabs in history.Marciano face wouldnt hold up nor would his chin. Ali by 7th round tko.

  • Rocky Marciano fought no one good, in his Prime he is like May weather dodger.

  • @mohab18 floyd is more talented

  • So the Marciano vs Cassius Cay fight was a publicity stunt?

  • Ali had more rhythm and style, Marciano had heart. Hard to say but it would be a clash of the gods

  • i think ali would have won that1,i know marciano was tough as nails but so was ali,and ali had unreal reflexes, but who can say,it never happened.

  • in about 10 years..they will have to make one of these for floyd and manny cuz they will never fight

  • its not real

  • Did that man just knock out ali?

  • idk but the way rocky fought and ali fought it would of been great. rocky was a str8 banger ali was a dodger so it'd of been great.

  • Marciano was part of a very weak era...Ali would of destroyed him.

  • Marciano Vs Muhammed Ali ... !! u guys are joking lol , if any one want the real answer just ask Forman about it or the world shmpions who came after Ali ..Marciano time was only one great fighter is himself but Ali open the game to become a real Boxing and a real fighters with good skills and stamina.

  • Marciano, barely a cruiser weight, beat a lot of guys both taller and heavier. That would make him pound for pound a pick for the greatest. Ali got hit too much and was beat too much to be in the conversation. As far as pure ferocity, Mike Tyson at his best would woop 'em all. A young Tyson on the attack in his primal rage would beat everyone in boxing history without breaking a sweat. Tyson was Rocky on steroids. Enough said.

  • @goodoldazed What I have noticed is that 9/10 Tyson fans dont know jack shit.. Ali got hit too much LMAO did you ever watch a prime Ali? Did you know we didnt even see the best of Ali (25-29 he lost). Yes Tyson was great.. I mean he beat LEGENDS like Frank Bruno. But gets beat by Douglas but hey he was past his prime at 24. No more bullshit about the myth of a prime Tyson, thats all the evidence they need to call him the greatest. Fuckin Amazing!

  • @goodoldazed look at his record,he beat alot of guys who wee under 200 lbs

  • maricano doesnt even belong to the heavyweight division thank god he died

  • @globalplayer1988 shut up you fucking thick idiot!!

  • Marciano was a pure-natural fighter. Hits hard and can constant take hard hits. Don't get me wrong Ali was strong too. But in the ring, I think Ali would win, if both met in their prime. Ali is the greatest tactician. In amongst the chaos, Ali still carried the focus and analytical skills and strategise.

  • @MultiRocketman007 in his dreams or on a virtual computer fight

  • MUHAMMAD ALI

  • ha ha. ali w/ huge advantages in height, weight, speed (yes, sir), skill, + a jaw that withstood the likes of Liston (twice), Frazier (3 times) & Foreman (once). add to that marciano's tendency to cut so easily...man. no contest. ali by TKO in 6 (fight stopped on cuts).

  • @mikeythompson7777 I forgot to add: ali w/ a huge advantage in reach, as well...

  • Rocky vs Ali really Ali is too fast and quick and smart for Rocky. And if joe Louis was younger he would've beat Rocky, Ali in the 60's was untouchable no1 would've beat Ali

  • Ali BATTERS Marciano

  • I love Ali - happy new years

  • Rocky is great, Foreman is great, Frazier is even greater but none of them would beat Ali in his prime

  • Ali himself said that if both had met in their prime it could have gone either way. He also said that he considered Marciano more of a threat than Frazier.

  • @Radrook Ali did say that but it's perfectly clear ali would whoop him any day he beat George Foreman and Sonny Liston both faster and just as hard as ROCKY, how would rocky catch Ali?

  • this was a ploy to make ali look bad because he was cocky, won all his fights and couldn't be beat. everything he said came true. this so called fight was fictitious.

  • Rocky was ringside for Liston v Clay (Ali) and was asked what he thought. Rocky apparently replied that 'he (Clay) was awfully short of experience having only had 20 fights. He (Rocky) didn't even fight for the title his 45th fight'. He also said that 'He (Clay/Ali) was too fast and he'd never hit him'. Sounds about right.

  • When Ali was Cassius he would have beat Rocky but by the foreman fight maybe not

  • @jnmklo9 WHAT??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????????????? He beat Foreman, Foreman is much more than Rocky, Look what Foreman did to the Great Joe Frazier, Ali would beat Rocky any day any person that studies these fights would know that

  • i think Rocky if the fight ws nowdays Ali would not be able to play the rope a dope because the ref would stop it and also Rocky was good at cutting the ring size down where as Ali liked to dance around it for two minutes and then throw some shots for a minute ,i think it would have be stopped ,Ali would not have been able to knock Rocky out thats pretty certain

  • @edwards21416 No Rocky would not cut off the ring on Ali, If Ali was in the corner he would clinch and push him away I really can Stress enough that Knowone would beat Ali in his prime, he knocked out George Foreman and Sonny Liston both as hard as Rocky, the only person that would stand a slightest chance at ali would be Tyson because he is fast and as hard as hell let alone some one as slow as rocky on liston or anyone like that

  • @revelation6415 -Sonny Liston as hard as Rocky ha ha ha ! you are joking right ?

  • @CUNDUNDO Rocky quit in his prime the 49-0 record doesn't prove anything, ali continued and won the championship for the third time at 37, the greatest of all time, beat foreman who would have pulverised Rocky, foreman would thrash rocky, im not saying just because one fighter beats another he would beat another because that's not how it works, its just a fact and rocky wouldn't catch ali, he was brilliant, if some one thinks Rocky could beat a prime ali you don't know ali at all

  • @revelation6415- You gave a long description of what your opinion is about Ali,Foreman and Rocky I respect that but my first comment was about your line when you say that Sonny Liston was as hard as Rocky I am gonna ask you again you were joking when you said that right ? please please answer me !

  • @revelation6415 I dont agree in anything with you! Foreman beating Rocky? George Foreman, i will tell you one thing he never got... Stamina.- And Rocky could hit harder than Ali, oh man, he hit harder than anyone in the history of box! And remember that Ali had always tremendous difficulties with hitters like Marciano.- Marciano wins both of them, he never lost.- 60 years, that record is untouched, and to you it means nothing! Joe Lous means nothing to you, Ezzard Charles, Walcott, come on!

  • @TheJuale Name me a really hard hitter like Rocky Ali had trouble with, knowone except for Frazier because he had a layoff, alis the greatest, Marcianos too slow explain to me how rocky could catch him, hitting hard doesn't mean anything against A Prime ali he proved it

  • @revelation6415 Ok I will name you one: RINGO BONAVENA.- That´s it baby!! And in the fight against him, he cheated, oh yes he did! ROCKY IS THE GREATEST FOR EVER!!!

  • Are you saying that ringo would beat ali, BULLSHIT Rocky was also too slow knowone who knows boxing would say that

  • Rocky hardest hitter in boxing history? come on dude do your research.... its well known that shavers is the hardest hitter in boxing history. and as for rocky against ali well i think ali proved 3 times that a hard puncher doesnt mean anythin.... ie: liston-foreman-shavers..... none of which floored him. rocky fought old bums... name one legendary fighter he fought in there prime?? and underline the word legendary and prime. ali fought frazier-foreman-liston-patterson just to name a few

  • @DonShaun237 Shavers?!?! Come on! Rocky had 88% KO against people bigger, taller and heavyer.- No thing hit harder than the Suzie Q. A hard puncher doesnt mean anything? Ok Moore, Tyson, Johnson, Rocky Marciano, Louis, Dempsey, Holmes, Foreman... Erase their names! I am tired of people saying Marciano fought bums; bums as Joe Louis? As Archie Moore? As Ezzard Charles? As Walcott? Walcott was in his prime when he fought the Rock; and Bruce Lee studied Walcott's feet! He was Ali's predecesor!

  • @TheJuale Marciano was a world champ after 42 fights against a 38 year old Walcott.. thats really his prime isnt it?

  • @CUNDUNDO Sonny Liston could hit maybe just as hard as marciano and was a legend, so if ali can beat him easily he could still pull it off against marciano who was soo SLOW

  • @revelation6415 WROOONG!!! Remember that Frazier (32-4-1) beat Ali, he had complications with the brawlers like rocky such us Bonavena, Chuvalo, Frazier; Sony Liston is a different kind of boxer... So if Ali was Knocked down by a anonimus white english and saved by the bell, if he cheated against Bonavena (otherwise he was in deep trouble), if he lost to Ken Norton, Trevor Berbrick, Frazier, Leon Spinks... Imagine what Marciano could do to him!

  • @michaelyouth - to call someones opinion 'ignorant and ridiculous' on something that can never be proven either way is in a sense ignorant and ridiculous. its just an opinion so relax dude, ali is my favourite athlete/person of all time, im just tryng to give a balanced opinion even tho im quite biased toward ali - no one is right, no one is wrong, not a dumb statement

  • Jack Dempsey was better than Rocky. Boxing historians know the truth. Rocky is hardly ever mentioned and he had an undefeated record. They know the truth.

  • Marciano wasn't even a heavyweight by today's classes. He was a light heavyweight/cruiserweight. Ali was a legit heavyweight even in the 60's. Would have outweighed Marciano by 20 lbs or more. If you watch footage of a young Ali (actually when he was still Cassius Clay) and footage of a prime Rocky, you'd know the truth. Watching Ali beat Jerry Quarry and Joe Bugner will give you an idea of what truly would have happened. Rocky wasn't even in Joe Frazier's class. Ali said it but he was'nt.

  • marciano in his prime wouldn't have caught ali in his prime, movement was too good for anyone i'd say, ali on points for me, tho if rocky did catch ali... lights out

  • @pandabir well I agree on the first part, but the second part is really ignorant and ridiculous.. Have you even seen Ali's fights?

To me, I've never seen a fighter with that good a chin. Maybe Chuvalo had a better chin, but Ali could absorb punishment from Liston(even though he didn't catch that many from Liston),Shavers,Lyle,Frazier and he even took severe punishment from GEORGE FOREMAN, for about 4 rounds long. Foreman hit a LOT harder than Marciano, so no lights out, dumb statement.

  • @michaelyouth ,which Ali are we talking, are we talking the one before imprisonment, because that Ali could win,but if we're talking the one after inprisonment,Rocky could win, because Ali wouldnt want to go toe to toe with Rocky or Sonny Liston. Ali beat Sonny when he could dance the entire fight, if he went blow for blow with Liston, like he did Frazier, Liston wouldve killed him. I know he took Foreman's best, but Foreman missed alot of punches, Frazier was more accurate vs Ali than Foreman was

  • @Tunes342 The thing about going to Ali's body is, that it will fail. Ali was a lot taller than Marciano, he would just get hit all night long in the face. The prime Ali of 1967 would beat anybody, with skill. The 1974 Ali, before Foreman, I think would beat anybody aswell, but with will. Foreman said that Ali was hit so hard, that to him it looked he was knocked out and ressurected. He wanted to help his people. You can not defeat a man like that. Foreman was inaccurate, but he hit HARD

  • @michaelyouth No Foreman did not hit ali that hard it nearly knocked him out what bullshit, your right that knowone would beat Ali in his prime

  • @revelation6415 Exactly. Foreman wrote that he hit Ali so hard in round 4 or 5 that he thought he was going down. At that moment Ali was looking at him as if he were to say: ''I'm not taking that from you''.. Just a split second later he realised, going toe to toe was stupid and went back in his guard. Foreman also said he saw Ali hurt and ''reviving '' after being hurt so bad multiple times. Ali is the greatest.

  • @Tunes342 Yes but Ali danced around Frazier on the second fight and won it easily even over someone as great as Joe Frazier, Joe Frazier was a real good fighter and Ali beat him easily on the second and Third, Rocky would not stand a chance

  • I don't think that a prime Marciano would beat a prime Ali, too much boxing science, movement, speed in Ali to lose.

  • Yea ya hear that thomaserossi?? Ha

  • Frazier won cuz ali played with him,,, after that he axcuted him u can watch that in manila,,,

  • Lmao no way rock beats ali lets be realistic

  • @udown24 - Frazier beat the shit out of him and he's half the puncher as Marciano with the same style.

  • @thomaserossi Well Ali did beat Ron Lyle, George Foreman and Ernie Shavers. Also Sonny Liston, and these man were wayyy better, harder puchers than Marciano. So the statement that Marciano just hit too hard is made by idiots. Ali beat Foreman, who probably hit harder than anybody, and he absorbed his punishment. Foreman would kill Marciano, who did not even have near as good a chin as Ali.

  • @michaelyouth ,Mariciano would probably land more than Foreman did,he would work Ali's body like he did when they sparred so they could get an idea of what might happen if they actually fought, if you watch,by Marciano attacking Ali's body he nullified Ali, in a way,Marciano could take punishment to land punches, not so sure if Foreman could beat Marciano either, actually Frazier shouldve never lost to Foreman because of his style of ducking and Foreman swinging wide

  • @Tunes342 Both Foreman and Ali would beat Rocky, how could rocky get to ali I dont understand why people think Rocky could stand a chance because he wouldn't

  • I agree - Marciano had total dynamite in his fists despite weighing less than 200lbs. He was a really hard hitter, Ali himself said he was not sure whether he could beat him. Personally I think Ali might get him on points or late stoppage but you can't discount Marciano's determination and phenomenal hitting power. The shots that he hit Louis and Walcott with would have flattened any heavyweight ever I think including Ali.

  • @francisjtuk I doubt that, if Ali can withstand punishment from Sonny Liston, from George Foreman, from Ron Lyle and from Ernie Shavers, who got clean shots at Ali, I don't think he would either go down against Marciano who didn't hit as hard as the above.

  • @michaelyouth I disagree that Marciano couldn't hit like those guys - I think his shots may have been harder in terms of pure knockout power. its not all about size, its about speed of punching and technique. if you think about it tyson wasn't that huge compared to today's beasts but he could punch like an absolute sob !

  • @francisjtuk I know a knockout punch is mainly a punch you can not see, and thus the brain can not ''prepare'' for it. Marciano was faster than Foreman, but I just don't see Ali ever staying down for the count. If you watch how Frazier gave him a murderous left hook, see how easily Ali shook it of. He didn't even took a count on the floor.

  • @michaelyouth Marcian ko ed old black fighters. When a younger black fighter was infront of Marciano , Marciano didn;t get the ko. Ted Lowry was a tomato can but was still in his 20 s. Marciano couldn't hurt him or drop him in two fights. Applegate another black fighter that was a tomato can. He hadn't fought i 3 years and sported a 11-14 record. Marciano couldn't hurt or put a dent in him.

  • that fight is so fake... ali would definatly beat rock whether if he was at his prime or not

  • Of course Rocky would have thought that in his prime he would have killed Ali--Just as Ali would say in his prime he would have killed Rocky. Both these guys were so good and had so much self confidence they could not have stated it in any other way

  • That was the fastest, hardest left hook I've ever seen!

  • Rocky would of been outboxed... his only chance would be by KO and even George Foreman who hit 3x harder than Rocky couldnt put him away Rocky was a great fighter but an old Joe louis got in his butt before aged fatigue and stamina got him... Archire Moore was beating him but like Louis was a fighter well well past his prime... it would be competitive but noway does Rocky beat Ali

  • @noirnoticvibe How do you know Foreman hit 3x harder? Marcianos punch was measured on a guage at IIRC 929 PSI (or ft/lbs....can't recall the units). Are you telling me Foreman who was NOT 3X bigger (he would have to be 555lbs to be 3x bigger) hit 3x harder? That's totally false AFAIK.

  • what a fucking joke, marciano you're lucky you were in the game when all the better fighters than you were past their prime

  • I have one last comment to make on ALI vs MARCIANO.....Please go to the Ali vs Cleveland Willams fight here on YOUTUBE! If anyone thinks Marciano would have even survived 4 rounds with Ali in his prime has to get their head examined!! It is clear this computer fight was generated by.........let's just say people un-like Muhammad Ali or his people. Ali moves in this video like he has the runs!! LOL! Trying not to shit himself. Just look at the real ALI against Williams, shit was frightening!!!

  • Marciano is damn lucky that he never had to fight Ali OR Liston, who was a contender during Marciano`s reign!

  • Comment removed

  • @mr1168726 ??? Are u nuts??

  • Comment removed

  • @mr1168726 Every fighter has a key to their system, the left hook was Ali's. That was also the same punch that FRAZIER dropped him with. All good fighters get hit once in a while, that is true for all of them. So i really don't see your point? Apologize to you for what?? Pretty silly.

  • @mr1168726 ANd where was Ali counted out?? Split glove?? You Brits are drinking too much of that Guniess aren't ya' !! Ali finished Cooper in 5 man! Alright I'm done with all of you guys, you all sound crazier and crazier by the quote!!

  • Comment removed

  • @mr1168726 racist

  • @MrJoelouisbarrow Just seen you reply, why do you say I am racist, I thought we were talking about boxing? Dont start all that racist thing, there's enough of it about already, without someone like you spurting out BAD rubbish.

  • @mr1168726 lol if you knew anything about the relationship between Ali and Frazier, you would know that they were best friends. Ali said that Fraizer was the greatest opponent he had ever faced. When Frazier came to "The life of Muhammad Ali", Ali cried.

  • @daron316 of the fighter that you listed, I think only Foreman would have won against Marciano.

  • I don't think you could seriously say that rocky would have beaten Ali, thats a bit silly and unrealistic. Marciano wouldn't have been able to see after the 5th round. Frazier would have knocked out marciano so would foreman and liston as well.

  • @daron316 OR, Rocky would have KO'd them. Don't be making shit up

  • @chucknchar Don't be talking shit

  • if , if iffi... record shows : Marciano undefeated champion of the world. period.

  • @giulioonamor

Record shows Ali as the greatest boxer of all time. Period.

  • @mikedav9O Hahaha, whos record? Ali could be considered the best Heavyweight of all time, but if you think he's the best p4p fighter, you're an idiot. Anyone who ranks Ali as #5 or higher clearly doesn't know a ton about boxing. He's a legend no doubt, but if you think he's the greatest just because of his gimick, you don't know shit about boxing.

  • @mikedav9O

Really? How many bouts did Ali lose? A few, eh? How many did the Rock lose ... hmmmm ...

Now what was that you were saying about the "record shows..."?

  • Comment removed

  • @GodfatherInOhio

Rocky didn't fight All-Stars like Ali. Rocky's wins come from an era where blacks were threaten and killed if they refused to lose fights against white boxers. The history of Jack Johnson is a prime example of white's cheating, polarizing race in the sport, and killing to win. It suspicious that Blacks begin to take over the sport of boxing around the Civil Rights era. So, don't tell me nothing about Rocky. He's a douche!

  • @mikedav9O

dude fuck you and your stinking crack whore of a whor emother! Don't be disrespecting on one of the greatest boxers of all time. Your sorry bitch ass ain't worth two of his drips of ball sweat so shut the fuck up and don't disrespect a dead legend. Fucking piece of shit, you feel safe insulting a man like that from behind the screen, I bet if you saw his shadow you'd sell your own slut mom and shit yourself silly, you fucking lowbred cunt

  • @mikedav9O Excuses, give the man his due, he beat 49 men who climbed in the ring with him n that included the best black boxers of his day. This argument about blacks being dominent in boxing has been laid to rest with the white boxers dominating the heavyweight division today. Things go in cycles and boxing has always been about who's hungry, its puts that eye of the tiger look in a fighter, its all about era's and the generations that live in them. Respect to a true champion, who never lost.

  • @chucknchar Boxing in the HW division is the WORST THAT IT HAS BEEN IN THE LAST 60 years!! The best black athletes are now playing in the NFL and the NBA, they gave up boxing. That is why the Klitchko's are even in existence today, and they suck. Boxing today is at it's NADIR in evolution. The fact that such lousy talent is champion today speaks to its decline and even it's interest for the public today. Rocky is not to blame for his times, the comp then sucked and was weak, it was what it was!

  • @nagone11 Ever see an NBA fight? They fight like girls

  • @chucknchar That's a stupid freakin' comment, you sound childish.

  • @GodfatherInOhio The top boxing historians have all been quoted saying Marciano did not have tough competition compared to the Ali Fraizer eras.

  • marciano would have to catch ali first to hit him.

  • @aimalkhan123 Classic boxer vs puncher matchup. tough one to call.

  • ROCKY MARCIANO HAD A RIGHT HAND OF MARBLE AND THE LEFT WAS PURE GRANITE.... HE HAD A NATURAL STRENGHT AND STAMINA

HE DIED IN A PLANE CRASH..... HE WAS THE STRONGEST HEAVY WIGHT EVER AND IN HIS PRIME NO ONE, I REPEAT , NO ONE WOULD HAVE STOOD A CHANCE. NOT ONE CHANCE. PERIOD.

    THANK YOU 4 POSTING

  • @giulioonamor Now this is just foolish. Marciano would have lost to Foreman, he probably would have lost to Liston and Big Cat Williams, he most certainly would not have gotten by Vitali Klitschko or Lennox Lewis. Marciano was coming in around 185. He'd be giving up 60 pounds of MUSCLE against those guys. I'm a Marciano fan, but there is no such thing as the fighter who can't be beaten. Marciano came perilously close to losing to Walcott, Charles and LaStarza (first fight).

  • @MADMAC572 Bah. Foreman didn't have the stamina of Marciano (I'm a fan of George). I can see Rocky beating Liston. Rocky was used to fighting taller guys, people who rely on height and long reach like Lewis and Klitschko wouldn't be unusual to him. You know why fighters were lighter back then? They didn't muscle pump. If Rocky fought today, he'd weigh more. As for Walcott: A wins a win. Charles: 1st round KO in the rematch.

  • @crowley0312 Look, there is no such thing as a fighter who beats everyone. that guy doesn't exist. Rocky, in spite of his ability to lean away from a jab thrown by a normal guy, isn't leaning away from Vitali's jab. He would NEVER have gotten in range to land a decent punch, and if my chance he did, Vitali could take it. Vitali has too much of everything for Rocky. Rocky was used to fighting taller guys, but Liston wasn't just taller, he was a very hard puncher.

  • @MADMAC572 I'm not saying he's the best of all time. He would eventually lose. But he could have dominated longer. Imagine how hard he could hit with modern weight training? He'd destroy Vitali. Rocky was good at moving with punches and could take a punch. I think Rocky hit harder than Liston. Liston didn't have heart, unlike Rocky.

  • @crowley0312 I don't think Liston hit harder than Rocky, but Rocky was relentless. He tended to wear opponents down with a ceaseless attack. He definitely had more heart than just about anyone. And was in fantastic shape for every fight. I think Vitali has the best jab of anyone, ever. That's a real problem for any fighter. He really uses his reach with his jab. It's boring, but it's effective.

  • i cant under stand what the guy says after he says he smiles any one knows

  • @strongsick286 ...but you know in my prime i would have killed him.

  • @Pilky01Alright ha ha thanks

  • @strongsick286 I think he said "In my prime I would have killed him."

  • poor rocky.... he was dreaming.... lol clay would beat marciano with a hand in back. too fast, too skilled, great confidence in himself, great chin, the greatest footwork ever, the fastest h of all time, rocky was too short, too small, he was slow like hell for a 185 pounder. no chance, ali by late tko (cuts) or easy ud.

  • @combatesdeboxeo ...Yeah,...and then you woke up...

  • ALI was definately a better fighter then rocky but the greatest p4p? Im not sure bout that me personally 1. sugar ray robinson 2 henry armstrong 3 archie moore 4 ali

  • @cpaignforeva2010 So true....so true.

  • marciano was the once fighter undefeated not as mohammed ali that losed TWO TIMES AGAINST JOE FRAZIER, A FIGHTER SIMILAR TO MARCIANO...

I SUPOSE MARCIANO WOULD BE THE ONE BOXER WHO COULD BEAT THE KLISTCHKO BROTHERS

  • Ali in his Prime would have beaten Marciano, Louis and whoever else. Ali was 6ft 4 inches tall, a 75" in reach with hands as fast as lightining. Foot movement still un-matched to this very day and beat the most fearsome opponents that ever boxed....PERIOD! Marciano was much smaller than Ali, and he weighed 189lbs, Ali and the people of his era would have battered Rocky Marciano badly, just imagine what Foreman would have done to him!!!

  • @nagone11 Go get shot dude. How dare u disrespect a deceased man, who not only was a great fighter but a great man. People have to stop assuming who would win in fights that didnt happen and NEVER will happen.

  • @Ant45078 , Hey... I was just stating facts, i was not speaking badly of the dead. This is a debate that will will go on even after you and i die my friend, so just relax about that. It is in our nature to speculate, this is something that we ....humans....do, and always will. You may not like my view on what would happen, just like this computer generated fight was some pure bullshit, doesn't even fit with Ali's fighting style. So, in humbling myself, i meant no disrespect, just stating a view.

  • Comment removed

  • @nagone11 is another member of The Religion of Ali.

He even lies about Ali's height. Ali was 6'3".

Ali struggled with Doug Jones, Ken Norton, Jimmy Young, etc.

How long would glass chinned Ken Norton have lasted with Marciano?

Ali fought mediocre Norton for 49 rounds and he still hasn't beaten Norton.

  • @marcxopoco When Ali fought those guys he was noticebly past his prime, but he still overcame them. He later beat people like George Foreman, and Norton, and Spinks. I know you guys are Ali haters, thinking that some 5ft 9 inch 189 pounder would whip his ass, but that ....i'm sorry to say is and was a whiteman's wet dream, never to happen in reality. Even the Europeans knew that was some bullshit and had Ali knocking Rocky out and cutting him before he did.

  • Everything is racial with a racist like the clueless @nagone11 .

Spew out your racial hatred, nagone.

    Jimmy Young was BLACK.

Jimmy Young gave your hero a boxing lesson to end all boxing lessons.

    Joe Frazier was Black.

Joe Frazier beat Ali thoroughly and knocked Ali flat on his back.

    Live with it, halfwit.

  • @marcxopoco , Sorry Marcxpoco but the truth is the truth and many of you guys just hate to deal with the facts. Now here are some other facts fo' yo' ass.......Fact 1: Jimmy Young BEAT FOREMAN!! Hummm forgot that one did'nt cha' .........OK fact 2: Joe Frazier was an OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALIST in 64' and WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION in 71' one of the best lefty heavyweights to ever grace the ring!! THESE ARE THE CALIBER OF MEN ALI FACED. That is why we still call him "THE GREATEST"!! Nuff' said.

  • @marcxopoco Ken Norton would have KILLED MARCIANO, as soon as Marciano would have come on the inside, Norton would have LIFTED MArciano's little ass with head jarring uppercuts and mauled his ass on up in there with blasting overhand rights. Ken Norton was a fabulous Athlete a 3 letter man in School, very good on his feet and hit very hard. Sure Foreman was better, Ali was better but Norton in anyother era would have been Champion, easily in Marciano's time thats for damn sure!

  • Brain dead @nagone11 is not only a devout member of the Religion of Ali,

but he also an expert on Ken Norton;s prowess.

Norton had a glass chin and a glass midsection.

Both Ernie Shavers (first round) and George Foreman (2 rounds) paralyzed Norton with a single body punch and then knocked him out.

Norton did better against Ali because Ali didn't know how to throw a body punch and because Ali couldn't punch.

Ali struggled with Norton for 49 rounds and still hasn't beaten him.

  • @marcxopoco Hey Idiot, Ali has 3 titles, has that ever crossed your non-boxing mind. Like i said, "A whiteman's wet dream" Your ass just can't get past that. Let's talk boxing, Ali had a problem with Norton because of Norton's uppercut and crouching style that helped him get past Ali's jab. Norton had no glass chin, he was KOed by Foreman an extremely hard hitter, Shavers hit like a bear with no claws, two devastating punchers! Also if Ali couldn't punch, just take a look at his KO record!!??...

  • @nagone11 is a racist pig who knows zero about boxing and worships the media created fraud, Ali.

  • @marcxopoco Just look at the record boy. This ain't about race it's about who was best! Boxing EVOLVED from Marciano to ALI numbnuts!! Don't you understand that!!?? How the fuck is a 186 pounder at 5 feet 9 inches gonna' be an even match with a man 6 feet 4inches tall and 25lbs heavier, including his competition, you can't even speak of the 2 eras in the same breath, except for closet racists like you holding on to that wet dream! YOU are the media worshipper! Stay off the box sucka', you suck!

  • @nagone11 umm mike tyson 5'10" lol...new debate come on u slags!!!!

  • @elvisorbison77 MikeTyson 5'10" 220lbs, I saw Iron Mike in front of Bronx County Courthouse some years back....the sum'bitch looked like a small refrigerator with shoulders that could have carried 3 men it looked like. Dude fuckin' scared me. Also Sammy Sousa the baseball player looked almost as big, but Mike was one short but fuckin' big dude. You sure-ly didn't want to get hit by this muthafucka!!

  • @marcxopoco ...When you take a look at Ali's K.O record and WHO HE KNOCKED OUT, maybe a sucka' like you will finally shut the fuck up with your highly UN-KNOWLED-G-BLE ASS!! MAn get the fuck off the box, you can't even respond to what i hit your ass with before. You up in here just babbling like a god damned fool. I like talking to people with something to say, not closet racists, trying to put some slow plodding white guy over the best men that ever boxed, and yes those guys were black!! Sorry!

  • @marcxopoco ...SO like i said just get off the box. So what Ali had a problem with Norton?? Frazier had a problem with Bonavena, Hagler had a problem with Duran, Foreman had a problem with Lyle and Jimmy Young. The Brown Bomber was beaten by Schmeling, Ali also had a problem with Frazier....so what the fuck is your weak assed point?? GET OFF THE BOX BOY, you know nothing of boxing but the idea of Marciano being in the same class as these guys and he WASNT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @nagone11 Just your opinion, everyone has one. Kenny could have been taken out in the first round like Jerry Cooney took him out, Cooney knocked him senseless and Cooney is no Marciano

  • @chucknchar True, but Kenny was like 43 years old and way past his prime. He had been in wars and had been KOed by Foreman also. Ken was done, just like Louis was done when he fought Marciano. Ken Norton in his prime boxing years would have mauled Marciano, Ken was 6'3' 225 lbs, Marciano would have looked like a child in there. Also Marciano NEVER faced an opponent like Norton during his time, lets get real about that! Cooney was young and hit very very hard Ken was just a punching bag then.

  • @nagone11 Don't know how old Norton was when Cooney stopped him in 1? But when U compare fighters from different eras, dont U have to ask how big Rocky would be in Norton era? If he had the same nitrution that modern athletes have, Louis fought at just over 200lbs, Walcott n Charles same. If you take into account a fighter's prime, what about his era?Isnt it the make up of the champion? 100 yrs from now, don't you think an Ali could compete? Rocky just beat every man he stepped in the ring with

  • @chucknchar The actual science of human motion has and will change little naturally. So people like Ali will always be seen as masterful and dangerous. Just look at the Ali vs Cleveland Willaims fight and get back to me will ya'! It is on Youtube. Also Rocky's era was weak, the fighters were just not as good as the 60's and 70's. Men Like Jerry Quarry would have cut a swath of destruction in Marciano's time. It was what it was my man. But just go look at that Ali fight with Williams, terrifying!

  • @nagone11 Ali was at his best in Williams fight, Liston also kicked Williams ass. I agree that the 60's and 70's was a golden era of boxing with all that talent but Joe Louis's era had the bum of the month club. Even Ali admitted that Rocky was "better than Joe Frazier" and that Rocky might have cornered him like he did 49 other men, Archie Moore said Rocky had "God given raw punching power". These arguments are futile, they are subjective and bias.

  • @chucknchar Humm...Ali and Liston were both CHAMPIONS if i'm not mistaken right?? And as far as the "bum of the Month Club" all fighters have to fight bums, #1-it keeps them active and #2-it permits them to work on their skills and improve for the real fights! The key to this point is this....look at any historical rankings of the best HWs and you will see Rocky below Ali, in almost every single one. That is how the Experts saw it.

  • I would of beaten ali-BULL CRAP!!! MY ARSE YOU'D HAVE BEATEN THE OLD MUSLIM MOTHERFUCKER. ali was a muslim, he drank magic potions brewed for him by allah before he fought that made him invincible :D

but joking apart, ali was UNBEATABLE in his prime. it didnt matter who the opposition was, ALI WOULD WHUP THEIR ARSE simply because he had suc a iron beleif in himself. and that includes rocky.

  • Comment removed

  • Jack Johnson would beat both.....

  • marciano the best ever, i also like tyson cause hes a vegan like me.

  • And for all you bums taking shit about rocky go check out on youtube what Ali said in an interview when asked if he would of beat rocky in a match.

  • Rocky was the all Time best heavyweight that ever lived and that's why noone ever came close to beating him

  • @Itag0d Actually Roland La Starza beat him in their first fight but was robbed of the decision and old Jersey Joe Walcott nearly beat him in their first fight and he would have were it a 12 rounder fight and not a 15 rounder...

  • @truebeliever786 First, concerning Marciano vs La Starza I, that's only an opinion held by some. The footage doesn't exist, so that opinion isn't even your own. Second, you assume that Rocky wouldn't have stepped up the action had he known he only had 12 rounds against Walcott? Of course he would have. Nevertheless, ALL championship fights were 15 rounds in those days, so what's your point? Don't blame that on Rocky. Blame Walcott for getting nailed with a GREAT punch.
