arguing about what drummer is better has one problem...biasedness. A good drummer isn't someone that can play fast for a long period of time. It's someone who can actually play TO and WITH the music, make it blend together perfectly, and by mixing it up without over doing it. Inferno, Mike Portnoy, George Kollias, Derek Roddy, hell even Keith Moon, they all do that. An even better definition would be Danny Carey and Martin Lopez / Martin Axenrot.

I saw the little side tour of Ozzfest bands, because I didn't want to drive out of state when the bands I wanted to see were playing my town around then anyways. It was 3 Inches of Blood, Behemoth, Hatebreed, and Lamb of God (headlining). Lamb of God didn't do so well. They had sound trouble for the first half of their set. I understand it was more than likely the venue, and not Lamb of God, but I've seen them a lot. So this show was more about the other bands so it wasn't a big deal.

I've seen Behemoth a few times and Inferno always pisses around a little on his kit in order to test out his sound. I would treat this little demo as an extended soundcheck rather than a proper solo, since almost any Behemoth song you care to name requires better drumming than that. He also does 16th snare hits over kick triplets at the end, Krisiun style, which is annoying because he can probably bomb properly at that speed.

Agreed. I've seen Behemoth live too. He did do a drum solo towards the middle to the end of the set when the others changed equipment, but he did do a little something like this before they started playing. I noticed the people attempting to set up his kit weren't able to properly do so (when I saw them live), so he had to come out and do it himself haha.

But yeah, he always dicks around to make sure his kit is set up right, and everything is mic'ed.

He's a really good drummer.
