Actually, your knowledge is WAY off. The ground was ripped up and re-done during the renovation. Home plate was moved about a foot from its original placement, as were the bases. The black seats were the original centerfeild seats. and the right and left field bleachers were also original. That big wall, separating the right bleachers from the cushioned wall, and extends to separate the left bleachers from the bullpens..that was THE wall for HR's (yes, the power alley in left was 461 ft.)
Also, the outside has not changed all that much either, with the exception of the spirals in the front, and in left. Also, the "Yankee Stadium" sign in blue was added, being the top was changed a touch. The ramps inside that take you from the bottom to the top, no change. Under the Stadium, were players go from clubhouse to dugout, also no change.

Actually, your knowledge is WAY off. The ground was ripped up and re-done during the renovation. Home plate was moved about a foot from its original placement, as were the bases. The black seats were the original centerfeild seats. and the right and left field bleachers were also original. That big wall, separating the right bleachers from the cushioned wall, and extends to separate the left bleachers from the bullpens..that was THE wall for HR's (yes, the power alley in left was 461 ft.)

Also, the outside has not changed all that much either, with the exception of the spirals in the front, and in left. Also, the "Yankee Stadium" sign in blue was added, being the top was changed a touch. The ramps inside that take you from the bottom to the top, no change. Under the Stadium, were players go from clubhouse to dugout, also no change.
