Madonna must be commended for her version of this song. Her interpretative skills in delivering the words resound with such emotion that elicits a gut wrenching response. One has the sense she deeply feels the words sung, which leads me to believe she draws on personal experience in her delivery. For me this by far Madonna's best track ever, because she sings with honesty, sincerity,insight using her personal experiences to dictate her singing. Intensely emotionally raw and flawless!!

i love this song, but evita is labled as "la puta mas cara del mundo" or "the world's most expensive whore" by the majority of argentines. the perons ruined what used to be the wealthiest country on earth w/such incredible potential on par w/the u.s., canada, & australia. the country now has the highest rates of psychologist per population in the world. a little trivia: more than 55% of argentines are of ITALIAN descent and there is a very large English population, too.

Yes, but the difference is that Argentina never produced anyone nearly as notable or important as any of those people. If you list a bunch of famous Argentines, the likeliness is that only Argentines know who those people are. Argentina never had any affect on world business. At sixes and sevens is a very old catchphrase and relates to gambling. The original phrasing was set upon six and seven. It originally referred to betting one's entire fortune on one throw of the dice. It connoted carelessness, and over time the phrase came to mean confusion, disorder, and disagreement.

Madonna must be commended for her version of this song. Her interpretative skills in delivering the words resound with such emotion that elicits a gut wrenching response. One has the sense she deeply feels the words sung, which leads me to believe she draws on personal experience in her delivery. For me this by far Madonna's best track ever, because she sings with honesty, sincerity,insight using her personal experiences to dictate her singing. Intensely emotionally raw and flawless!!
