I personally think Sierra sings this song better, but then again, this song was written for her. Gina has a beautiful voice, but I'll agree that Gina didnt really put as much emotion in her voice.

Sure when I first heard of it, it sounded like a fan fiction other than a musical, but when I saw it, I fell in love. And Gina does this song good, sure she's not Sierra Boggess, but she made it kinda her own with this version. Good work Gina. <3
I like gina but....not this song. But honeslty listen to Sumi Jo and Guadalupe Cristina!!! I think Sumi is korean and Guadalupe is Argentine. but really not to be missed!!!!
My favourite singer for this song are two singers: both opera singers one is Sumi jo and the other one is Guadalupe Cristina!! amazing versions! I recomend u hear them both!!!!
Having heard both Gina and Sierra sings this, I feel that Gina gives the better portrayal of an older Christine. Boggess' voice is ideal for POTO because she's just starting out as a singer, an ingenue; whereas with LND, Christine is ten years older, and her voice should be more mature, as Beck's is. Beck does a wonderful job singing this song!
@HeartOfStone100 She left the show a few days before i posted this video, and has done other things such as being in the ensemble of the Les Mis 25'th anniversary concert and has done cabaret and concerts since.. She was however called in the 22'th of December to perform due to the fact that neither Sofia Escobar(Current Christine) and her understudy Was sick/couldn't reach the theatre because of snow.. And she performed the 22'th, two performances the 23'th and one the 24'th.
@CharmedBalthazar I saw her on the 16th so must have been one of her last shows lol, it was defiantly her, she has a very unique voice that you recognize anywhere lol
She is such a sweet person, and a brilliant singer. Can't say I'd want her to do LND because I'm really not fond of that show, but I'm sure she has a great career ahead of her. And this really is a good version of this song.

Classical? This song has nothing to do with classic style. It's just a pop song that pretends to be "operatic" by using foolishly high notes in the end.

@Becketts43 Gina is better at this song than Sierra, though her voice isn't full enough for an older Christine. Besides everything else, the lyricist should be shot. It's called a thesaurus. A 5th grader could have written these lyrics. I absolutely LOVE PotO. And I'm usually happy with ALW's music, but even with better lyrics, this melody is so cheesy it makes it extremely difficult for me to enjoy this song regardless of how good the singer is.
@AbbyJade09 I agree mate, it would. Saw both Phantom and LND when i was in London, and met both Gina and Sierra after the shows, and for some reason, Gina was the one who made the big impression on me.
I'd love to see her do LND, eventhough i'd to see her in Phantom again even more! 8D

But .... (I am a tad biased) she cannot pull off this song anywhere near Sierra, and frankly ... just not a tol.She does not have enough of a classical mix to her voice which bothered me even when she was Christine. for the most part, she did a lovely job .... but she cat pull a song like this off.
She seems to have a bit of trouble hitting the higher notes. This is not suited to her voice.
