Umm...yeah. I'm not going to say that players from Barbados aren't good, but I am going to say this: I lived in Japan for over a year. I had the pleasure of playing some fantastic players, and someone who is NOT from their country is usually waaaaaay below average to them. Plus, I'm not sure which rock you've been living under, but when the Japanese travel they tend to eat souls. lol Also, I'm curious: how come I've never seen a player from Barbados in the top ranks of EVO or SBO?

Apparently, custom combos weren't as game-winning in A2 as they are in A3 and CVS2.

You are correct for Alpha 2 and MVC2. We struggled with Japan in CVS2 for years. John Choi was the first American to win evo in CVS2 with Japanese players.  The Japanese tier list was all wrong. However at this time, Americans put Ken and Sagat as the top two in this game. Ken is more number 3 now, with Rose and Chun-Li ruling the roast. The old Japanse tier list was closer to the modern tier list, but probably for all the wrong reasons.
