Honestly, their music doesn't appeal to me. I'm not gonna go the tactless route that a certain well-renowned Welsh singer did some years ago; but I'd rather listen to her songs, among others, than these guys.

Ace of Base, ABBA, The Jets -- all these bands and loads more can do far better. I'd even take The Spice Girls in their prime over Scooch. Just sayin'.

I think you have gotten the republic of Ireland which is known as Ireland. (in the sense they have the Irish flag)

but north Ireland has St Patrick’s cross which is on the British flag.

(St Patrick’s cross is not used in northern Ireland that much because it is controversial)

It would end up in a big mess with people like tom jones end up singing for scotland & marti pellow singing for wales. The choice of artist is allways dictated by self publicity. The artist and composers nationallity no longer has to be native. for example, last years contest in Oslo saw a group from wales represent cyprus, Ronan Keating composing and writing the entry for Denmark, and a man from belarus won the contest for oslo the year before. The law of native composers and atrists was scrapped way back in the 90's. Most of the people mentioned above do not even live or have any birthrights in the countries that they represented
