the second bolt from the bottom on the firewall is the worst, I did mine in 8 hours with the cutting and re-cutting and pulling / reinstalling my sliders

dam man nice jeep the fenders match alot i like the liner u got on the hood it matches the new fenders..i jst ordered the xrc smittybilt fenders for the rear for my cj7 because my plastic flares always snap with my 35'' tires hitting them..i want these front fenders i just will feel bad cutting into my fully restored cj but ill eventually get there..5 stars!

I started installing these at 7 last night on my 79 cj and they are a real pain in the ass. The instructions aren't very good and the template was not in the box of course. Your videos helped a lot though. Thanx for taking the time to do such a informative series.

@MrZebraUTTERS no you have to cut your old fenders up to install the tube fenders because you need to use the inner part of your fenders.

Good videos, one question, what was the stuff on your hood? Was it a stick on substance or a line-x? Also, what are you jeep specs?

@MrKaptinNemo that is a spray on bed liner. i wanted to be different and it matches the fenders...i get a lot of comments on the hood, the back corners and the doors.

Nice set of how to vids on the fender install . I think the finished product looks great , I was thinking that maybe painting the small fender extentions at the front right above the sliders and the rear wheel fenders a more mat black matching the tubes might look pretty good and not cost to much . Again great job and looks great !
