  • I love her. She's one of my idols. I watch The Golden Girls every night before I go to bed.

  • @GEVMM I do too!!!

  • i miss you bea! she was like family to me ever since watching the golden girls

  • I make Lasagna al Forno, and think of this great, great actress with me in the kitchen ! :)

  • I have read all comments on all 5 parts of her interview. ALL people agree (warmly) that she was great... and this is true. And I was wondering, how often do we see so many people agree on something? Not often. But it seems that Bea Arthur is one of those rare people / artists who have such a power. And I loved every comment you guys left here. May she RIP indeed. See ya there Bea.

  • Great point and also if anyone doesn't know this you can still get the live album on Itunes of the "And Then There's Bea" I want the video though!

  • I love Bea Arthur's integrity and humility as an actress. She always made me laugh. And the faces she made were brilliant. I will miss her. And I agree with her, Lucy should have never portrayed Mame.

  • i cant believe bea and estelle are gone.

i just started whatching the golden girls 2 weeks ago, and ive already fallen in love with them. may they rest in peace. i will coninue whatching the golden girls as long as i can, i just cant belive their gone:[

  • PussyCat We Miss you

  • I don't think she knew what comedic timing was because she invented it!

No other actor knows how to hold a look or a joke as perfectly as Bea did. Some of the reactionary faces she made in GG were Priceless!

  • I am SOO sad about Bea Arthur's death!! I'm 19, and I have been religiously watching The Golden Girls since I was at least 5....and Dorothy has always been my favorite Golden Girl!! And she was such a wonderful person, not to mention an extraordinary actress!! We'll all miss you!! Thank you for all the laughs!! And of course, Thank You for Being a Friend!! Love you!!<33 R.I.P Bea Arthur!!

  • Nice. Bea is the best. I dont think we'll see another actress with such a range of acting and music. Farewell, Bea.

  • Sleep well, Pussycat. We love you!!

  • Great lady! RIP

  • Bea, you were a class act. I first saw you in Golden Girls, but then recognized you in various movies and shows and appreciated you even more so.

  • i love u bea now u have return to GOD with made you thank you for sharing your gift

  • Very funny video- I love the Golden Girls! As a child I almost never missed an episode when it was broadcasted on dutch television. The news that Bea Arthur past away yesterday has upset me a lot. Nobody delivered sarcastic lines better than her. She was a delight to watch!

  • She just...doesn't seem like one of those people who dies. RIP

  • :( Miss You Already x

  • You will always be remembered as an artist. Rest In Peace

  • RIP Bea

  • Artistic genius.

  • We love you Bea. You are pure class!

  • She is GoD

  • LOVE HER!!

  • She is Ze best!

  • She's the best. Don't make shows as good as

    the golden girls anymore.

  • I really gleaned so much from this series of interviews. The fact that in reference to acting, she brought the points of truth and believing in what you are doing full circle, which sealed the whole deal for me...

She's fantastic and a legendary talent.

  • This last segment of the interview was really inspirational. I feel lucky to have found this gem.

  • This was an awesome interview. Thank you so much.

  • A real class act. Another childhood Icon of mine.

  • This was shot on 2001.

  • she is such a great lady and actress and the interview is fantabulous!thank you so much!

  • I love you BEA!!!!!

  • what is the date on this interview?

  • Bea Arthur truly is an artist in the highest and truest sense of the word. I was fortunate to see her one-woman show here in San Francisco with Billy Goldenberg, and they were both great. Her singing voice was booming and her stories of what she cooks for her friends for dinner were hilarious. I was up in the cheap seats without my glasses but it was still wonderful. From the iconoclastic "Maude" to the always fun "Golden Girls", Bea has been my hero since I was a kid. Thanks.
