Tomb Of The Mutilated was released in 1992 and was very original in its time. their are no gutterals in any of the songs on this album so you have no idea about vocal styles. screams are shrieks. lyrics in deathmetal are not at all to be taken seriously their just to maintain the aspect of death. scream bloody gore is great but it too has a very gore sounding album. make fun of tomb of the mutelated, youve made fun of screambloodygore

Completely disagree with this video. Tomb of the Mutilated is not perfect but it's a great album and a 'corpse classic. Chris Barnes had pretty flat vocals but they still work well overall. There are plenty of good riffs and blast beats are used very well (in the right place, at the right time). And the base is definately audible.

i watched it to the end to make sure you werent just kidding. Tomb Of The Mutilated was released in 1992 and was very original in its time. their are no gutterals in any of the songs on this album so you have no idea about vocal styles. screams are shrieks. lyrics in deathmetal are not at all to be taken seriously their just to maintain the aspect of death. scream bloody gore is great but it too has a very gore sounding album. make fun of tomb of the mutelated, youve made fun of screambloodygore

While Cannibal Corpse may be the most mainstream death metal outfit ever to grace Hot Topic's shelves, they are really not that good. All they are are regurgitated Morpheus Descends and Slayer riffs copypasted all over each other in a haphazard fashion. They may release the odd decent song, but they are irrelavent posers compared to death metal greats such as said Morpheus Descends, Immolation, Morbid Angel, and likewise.

you mentioned bathory in your video...i think you are a confused individual. bathory emphasized satanic/ anti-christian lyrics in the early years which are a staple in Black metal, and later pioneered the subgenre of "viking metal". Death was a band that i would consider as progressive in the later years, and not a "death metal" band. so from viewing your pointless video, you are simply upset because Cannibal Corpse chose to remain as a classic death metal act and not switch styles.

Completely disagree with this video. Tomb of the Mutilated is not perfect but it's a great album and a 'corpse classic. Chris Barnes had pretty flat vocals but they still work well overall. There are plenty of good riffs and blast beats are used very well (in the right place, at the right time). And the base is definately audible.
Also what do you mean 'smart enough to figure out that gore lyrics are stupid'? Plenty of AMAZING death/grind bands use and have used gore lyrics.

i totally agree with all of this person's comments, but i still love old CC. butchered... and tomb... hold a special place in my nostaligic heart because when this stuff came out, it WAS brutal and ground-breaking. in hindsight, yes it sucks, but if you were a metalhead and there at the time, you were probably have dug it like i did and still do, despite it's shortcomings.
