@animaandmang, with the next gen version (NGLE) you can use bigger textures and hi poly objects. Also you can have rain and snow. There are lots of cool features :)

i play the playstation version's of tomb raider, found out about the level editor and downloaded it for my laptop... now i have to find out how to use it but i love tomb raider

Hi, I really found your tutorial useful, I managed to do everything you did, its just that I can't connect rooms? It's driving me crazy, every time I try to create a door, by clicking on the black cube it just keeps saying error, cant connect door. I split the room so I had a second room, but It just does not connect. I have tried everything?? Oh and water was hard to, coz I could not create a door connection. @mashupmaker9000, mine is like that too. There was some key combo to make it fit right. I'm on my iPhone so I can't check what it was, but I think it was alt + enter, or ctrl + enter.

this makes me mad: on my level editor, the bottom of the program is ALWAYS bloked.even if i try to put my mouse under the progam to unblock it, it still is always blocked. now i can not light my rooms. :(

Hmm, have you opened the folder in Explorer? Are there no files at all in there? If so you may need to redownload or reinstall the TRLE/NGLE, it may have accidentally gotten deleted at some point.

There is no TR5 TRLE, only TR4. TR5 comes with a disc of the TR4 TRLE though. You have the right one :)

that's kinda complicated, go to trsearch (dot) org & go under "tools" & download "WADmerger" & "runtime 5 & 6". Install those, then start up WADmerger, open (for example) the Coastal WAD & in the other window open ur new outfit you downloaded. copy the Lara from the new outfit & paste it over the coastal lara (make sure you made a copy of original b4 u do this). Then save it & open that file in the TRLE. If you have trouble try asking ppl on tombraiderfourms(dot)com, they're pretty smart ;)
