The ONLY shitty things about the tC are the interior materials. The plastics are really shitty. and if you want leather seats you have to add almost another 3000$.. but aside from that.. the car comes with soo many standards options... that's what sold me!
@ghostKurt Yeah, the interior isn't the best but it's not that bad. The seats are actually really confortable and if you want leather, you can get Clazzio seat covers which from what I've talked about from a lot of people are really good. The plastics don't bother me. The only thing I'd like is a couple of spots like the area at the bottom of the windows and the center arm rest/console cover.
If you compare the interiors of this (tC) and the forte...the forte is waaaaay better. I don't care too much for mods (I don't hate it, just was never to my "forte" LOL), but I sat in a forte at a dealer, and If i'm going to be inside the car MOST of the time, I want a good interior..Inside the forte..the interior was awesome and got leather seats under 20k. But yea, although the tC can be modded out, just remember that the forte is really KIAs first shot at this segment.
@projectdoom2 You go for the TC for its excellent handling and good acceleration and passing power, with respective fuel economy. You buy the Forte to be an A to B grocery getter. Did I clear that up for you?
@projectdoom2 We are talking about a comparison with the Forte here right, what the hell are you comparing it to a GTR? for a FWD with less than 200 Ponies its nimble handling and passing power is pretty good. But yeah its no sports car.

I'll definitely say that the interior materials are a bit better quality than the tC but the tC is better performance-wise. And the price between the Forte SX and the tC is just about the same. You either can choose better interior or better performance and reliability.
it only comes with one fucking reverse light.... what what what the fuck. installed my second one today though. other than that, i love this car. DON'T GET ONE, MINE!.
@n00bivore666 I would recommend the Forte Koup over this. Otherwise if you do want a tC you will definitely want to get a used 2008 09 10 or the older 2007.
The newer tC has a much uglier and cheaper looking interior and it's more expensive than the older one for no reason.
@shuyin200 The Kia Forte Koup is a hideous vehicle and is slower than hell. The 2011 tC is faster, more masculine, more customizable, better features, better rims/brakes, engine is nicer...hell, just about everything is better except the plastic-y interior. And while it's plastic-heavy, it still is way more attractive than the old tC. I don't expect the new tC to age as poorly as the old one, either. (Yellow headlights much?)
Great presentation! This car is so beautiful. Its the perfect combination of a sporty import with an aggressive body style. hope to get one by the end of this year!
@Dhoom821 Wait for the 2012 Civic Si...test drive it and you decide. Both look like great cars. The thing with Honda is it'll sell better and hold its value longer.

The previous version is much better in my opinion. This is like a more Corollarized version with cheap interior quality, cheap a/c controls vs the previous digital ones, not even an engine plastic cover has been put on.
I didn't know my tc had that memory seat thing I'm learning new things about my 2012 every day haha

@tribestros If that's true. Why is the tC no longer Scion's strongest selling vehicle? The 2011 xB is once again the King of Scion.
Walk into any scion dealer and ask them which scion car is the strongest seller this year. Most will answer "xB".
The difference between old tC and new tC:
Everyone wanted to drive the old tC.
Guys who don't want to pay for a Genesis/Camaro/Mustang (RWD) will probably go with the new tC.
Bottom line.....the new tC is NOT a chick car.
