Been to Ft Knox a bunch of times, its always a cool/creepy place to explore. I could spend all day looking around there.

I think we interpret Maine a bit differently. I thought it was way too crowded. However, I'm from North Dakota, so I suppose it's all relative!

Are you saying that there is a Fort Knox in Zalasewie, Poland? I won't argue over which is best as I've never been to Poland.

(By the way, I knew all the words except the last one. You wouldn't believe how long it took for me to figure out it was the name of a city!)

I'm from Bucksport but I had a friend who lived in Prospect and I remember during the summer between my sophomore and junior years of high school we would often get drunk and sneak into Fort Knox in the middle of the night. It's an extremely creepy place to be at night.

where did you sneak in, all i could find was a really high window that my friend could climb and hand me a rope, (im from bucksport)

We always just snuck in right through the parking lot of the main entrance and went from there.

I believe that Fort Knox has been in a few movies too :) I live in Searsport and I remember, one time I was with my friends and half of the Fort was off limits due to filming.

love this! my family is from Bucksport and also Verona where you can see beautiful Fort Knox! I have great memories (and pictures) from this place. Ironically, I now live at Ft. Knox, KY. :)

Your family comes from a very nice area. I was impressed with that part of Maine. The towns along the river reminded me of growing up along the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania.

I've also moved far from home, out to North Dakota. It's funny where life takes us!
