@Rican78702 There is only one expansion - Eastern front. Tales of Valor is standalone. I dont know if you get Brit army and Panzer Elite with first CoH, thats-way I'm suggesting to buy Tales of Valor.

MP44 and STG44 are both correct and thus it isn't a mistake. Hitler did not want an assault rifle to be developed so his generals developed the assault rifle under the name MP44 under the guise of a new machine pistol/SMG. When Hitler found out about the new assault rifle and its success; he renamed the mp44 the stg44 for propoganda reasons.

Offensive vet on mortars actually affects its auto-fire, but when you use the barrage ability it doesn't have any effect. And as for the Hummel offensive vet is completely useless since it doesn't have auto-fire at all ^^ (so defensive vet is more useful for mortars and Hummels imo)

hi krebs, i disagree with you about decreasing the effectiveness of bars against pe ac...why because as an lvl 15 usa i often deal with it and they'r already really effective against inf or t17 (less but still damage him), it has an insane range of fire (a bit further than the 30 calibre browing crew i think) and still a high precision while moving or not. they're freakin mobile and even more with the speed up capacity.u must use them as a support unit and in shorts harassing manoeuvres

Calliope is the death of PE. It just wrecks all lightly armored vehicles. If the US player has enough AT means to stop the Panthers than the Calliope will win the game. Its just the way it is.

hi guys one question. i really liked the demo of company of heroes ( i was looking for some "old" rts i never had the chance to play ), i would like to spend some € on this fantastic game, but which version should i buy? tales of valor? all the packs? great vid!

@ivandga You can play COH with any of the games. Company of heroes is the original whilst Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor as the expansions. Each expansion unlocks campigns, factions and units for the multiplayer. If you were to purchase any buy the Anthology which includes the original COH and the two expansions.

@ivandga I've got all 3 "games" but only installed ToV and I can choose all factions and all the extra units when playing online. But I don't have all the campaign missions. So if you're only going to play online, ToV will do. But the game is so cheap right now that you should get them all. I believe Steam will put a 75% discount right after new year, I've heard something about that, but don't know if it's true.

@ivandga If u want to play singleplayer campaigns you should buy anthalogy but if you only want to play multiplayer you should buy tales of valor since thats all you need. If u want to download from steam or buy the game on CD/DVD you have to decide for yourself

Hi Krebs and Sergei! To be fair, PE has also a sort of medic center, if you fortify a building (which you need in a map xD). The only thing is that it only heals, it doesn't get back zombie squads (which is I think what you were talking about) , but you can reinforce people nearby. And I think it doesn't need defensive operations improvement at the HQ.

Btw, great cast, really funny and interesting one. Good job with your channel :)

@Lyber Thanks! FHQ does need defensive operations if you want to have your troops healed though. Otherwise, all it does is reinforce.

Hitler renamed the weapon after inspecting troops. Whom asked for more of the weapons. The reason he did not like the idea of assault rifles, is that he thought troops would be wasting ammunition with them. but for short to medium range engagements where rapid firing > accuracy to bring down guys, the STG44 was the best weapon for the job. high rate of fire and decent accuracy at those ranges.

@mvizinti it was purely about saving money. :P but the troops knew the battlefield effectiveness of the weapon. (Don't know how true this is): I have seen docos stating that if the weapon was approved for more widespread use when it was developed. (42 and 43) it could have possibly changed outcomes, it was that good of a weapon. Look at mKB 42 which was the earliest variant of an 'Assault Carbine'. giving every soldier one of those would have been insane. anyway good cast krebs! :D
