I agree that this horse is slightly on its forehand. Which is common. No one should assume if a certain person uses artificial aids. Its silly to look at a horse that you don't know and say "Yep that horse has been worked in drawreins" No! You don't know, don't assume. It just makes you look like a fuckhead
thebellmare you talk alot and by seeing you have no videos of you and horses in general you should shut your trap this horse is a top end hus horse so please dont speak ever again!!!!
darling...you have no idea what your talking about...this horse is an exceptional mover NATURALLY! Every single horse is tweaked and changed to show off his abilities! You can not tell me that dressage horses come out of the womb doing pirouttes and that jumpers come out scaling 6 foot fences. No, they don't. Every discipline looks for a particular look and the horses and trained for that look. If it wasn't somewhat natural they wouldn't be able to do it. Mmmmk.
You have a very condescending tone, and your reply clearly demostrates your ignorance to respectful and higher equestrian disciplinces. Yes, he may have good natural movement, but it has been ruined by bad training using artificial aids. Had this horse been presented to me to judge, I would have looked right past him, as he has been forced to hold his head in a way which puts he and the rider in great danger. If that's the look you want, you too, are ruining perfectly good horseflesh. Pity again
This horse was never worked in draw reins as they are not an aid I use in my program on a reg basis and not one I use on green horses. This horse has a natural low headset (he was bred for the low headset) he was also 1 1/2 downhill. He is trained for the AQHA HUS if you are not familiar with the discipline or type of training you probably should not judge it.
Thank you for your reply. I am familiar with that discipline, I just don't agree with it. It is an unnatural and somewhat dangerous way to have a horse go. I really liked the looks of this horse, but if he can only go like that...well isn't it kind of like breeding for tiny feet, (as has been a qh & tb fashion) or like generations of GB human royal bloodlines with hemophelia? A lot of style and speciality, but self defeating over time. The only place it's acceptable is within that discipline.
He is a very cool horse, only had 75 days of ridding when this video was taken so of course he still needs work, but I'm sure the woman who purchased him will get him finished out. He's also just over an inch down-hill so that has a lot to do with him looking heavy.
Thanks for your input, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I take the good with the bad some times you need the negative remarks to grow, and the good ones to make you feel your worth.LOL. He is green in the video, some people can't take that into consideration they have to see the finished product to see what they will look like when they are finished. He was always a very natural horse, and things came very easy for him, I hope everyone gets the chance to see him in the show pen.
hes gonna be a huge winner and if hes green theri i cant wait to see when hes all ready for showing ... hope u sell him if i needed another one he or she would be it for sure .. good luck

tis a pity what training in draw reins creates...I hope he overcomes it. He is cute, despite this stylized training.
