This mud racer doesn't have 5000 hp. It's a supercharged V8 running alcohol. It's likely in the 2000 hp range. It would need to have a supercharged hemi on nitromethane to be pushing 5000 hp.

You dumb fuck. What do you think all NHRA Top Fuel and Nitro Funny Cars use for engines? HEMIS. Why? Because they were proven to make more power than a non hemi engine like a BBC or a BBF. The hemispherical design produces the most power using a supercharger and nitromethane. In order to make the extra 3000 hp, it would be best to use a KB500 Hemi, a supercharger AND nitro. You fail.
