Coltrane and Pharoah Sanders were very spiritual with their music. I've been around Pharoah several times and can tell you he takes a very spiritual approach to playing. I must say that this was a very good rendition. You didn't just play it but you felt it!
This song was co-written by Lonnie Liston Smith who started out with Sanders prior to forming his Cosmic Echoes. The piano solo is always beautiful. Also, I can't forget the late Leon Thomas.
