First there is nothing "magical" about the Body of Christ , It is by Divine will that the Supernatural God makes himself present in the Natural world. God never meant to leave us ( Mt 28:20) and the Eucharist is the means to that end. The offering of Bread and Wine to God is ancient (Gen 14:18) and Jesus followed that tradition & improved it

Low entropy i.e. an ordered state to high entropy i.e. a disordered state creates what we call time and that is why we remember the past rather than remembering future events. Future events are in a state of disorder; just about anything can happen. Things that have already occurred are remembered because the brain interprets the events as an orderly sequence.

First there is nothing "magical" about the Body of Christ , It is by Divine will that the Supernatural God makes himself present in the Natural world. God never meant to leave us ( Mt 28:20) and the Eucharist is the means to that end. The offering of Bread and Wine to God is ancient (Gen 14:18) and Jesus followed that tradition & improved it

Science has a plethora of theories that devolve into chaotic states where there are infinite universes within infinite dimensions with infinite time and spaces- all very interesting but impossible to prove. However if one looks at nature one sees an ordered universe not a chaotic one and from that cue many think the Prime Mover is ordered also.

@monkigun An ordered universe does not prove a god's existence. It actually proves the property of time. Low entropy i.e. an ordered state to high entropy i.e. a disordered state creates what we call time and that is why we remember the past rather than remembering future events. Future events are in a state of disorder; just about anything can happen. Things that have already occurred are remembered because the brain interprets the events as an orderly sequence.

But then again consciousness is a byproduct of complex mechanisms i.e. electrochemistry and biological phenomena. In some ways, there might be more to the human body than meets the eye. If black holes and dark matter exist, then certainly an "afterlife" could theoretically happen. Reality is completely weird!!! I'll admit that.
