@NiGhtMarEs0nWax I have Mandriva on my Notebook and my Netbook and it picks up all of my drivers and such. I dont have any of the bugs I associate with Ubuntu.
Ive used OpenSUSE and never had any issues with it, but I also never stuck with it.
Arch linux is fine if you can get the chakra installer to work. if not youll need a second computer to find repositories to install to get a gui / drivers going. Even using the defaults = a lot of work and trouble shooting.
@ankitpasi1 LOL... take it easy just enjoy your distro.... i want to give you an advise linux is not like windows.. i mean download double click and install... u need to almost do everyting using synaptic package administrator... that is cool and automatic

I think they just stop the updates when the OS becomes obsolete

Its an integrated geforce 7100/nforce 630i.
Its supported by debian,ubuntu,linux mint,suse but somehow not by fedora...

I tried Mandriva 2007 and hated it, but that's only because I was a noob an I didn't know how to install illegal codecs.
I'm on Arch now and wish I could try more distros. Maybe if I had an external HDD and I could just backup my home partition there.
Backing up my stuff is a pain in the ass because I can't backup without using a live cd and copy the files as root to a internal HD.
Maybe I'll give Mangina 2010 a try. Is the a user suppository like the AUR?
