yeh i remember that, a guy who was dressed as batman scaled the palace and hung a banner for the organization fathers for justice or something, an organiation who faught for the rights of fathers to get custody of their kids....something like that.
Also back in 2008 i think a drunk man climbed over one of the garden walls by climbing a tree and jumping over to the wall, he then got into part of the palace when he was caught.
needless to say the security is much more strict now.
For those un aware the scaling of the walls happened because the job of protecting the palace was left up to the police, after the 2 incidents the Army was tasked to defend the palace and other important areas again.
It's because at that time the guards were ceremonia (although trained soldiers) and HMs protection was left to the police (metropolitan), but since these events the guards have re-taken sole control

I think crazy people dressed as Batman don't fall into the responsibility of the Foot Guards.
