To be precise, the means to draw mako energy is first theorised and worked on by the Al Behd in FFX-2. In fact the lore goes on that the Al Behd eventually leave the world of Spira behind them and take to the stars, in search of a new world. Eventually settling on the world seen in FF7 as the ancients. The technology then surfaces MANY years later.

I attended Video games live this past year in chicago. Honestly, not to impressed. A few songs where strickly promo due to upcoming releases (assasins creed 2 and tron), which is kinda sad. I also don't think they did one winged angel justice on guitar. That guitar should have been heavy and full. The visuals were kind of boring, random pictures of characters, or people dressed up as characters. Where was the gameplay? Where was the reliving that epic battle? Sadly, not there.
